Great choice for Charleston. One of the better courses around, challenging greens if your in the wrong spots.

Course is just gettting healed from punching the greens. A little slow but will be great in another week. Always a nice challenge. Need to be acurate off the tees to set up your approach shot.

I was considering giving this 5 stars but some of the greens appear to be dead in spots, although it seems to becoming addressed. The layout of the course is very nice and each hole has a stone map built in on a brick wall. There are many conviently located water drinking stations which is a plus. Although I use sky caddy the course was also well marked with yardages on all sprinkler heads, signs for carry and layup distances. The traps and fairways are in great shape. You need accuracy to score your best here. A little bummed out that they did not have a pin sheet or a color coding system indicating the flag depth. Landing on the wrong plateau on the green will penalize you. Course has lots of undulations. Very pleased at the matenence, pace of play, cleanliness and the nice surrounding development. The course is located in a quiet section of Summerville and easy to get to. The rates for South Carolina residents on GOLFNOW (not even using hot deals) are the best of all the area courses. You need to play this more than once to know where best to hit is. Since the pace of play was great I took my time to drive up and see where best to hit it. I will definitely make this course a staple and highly recommend it to others. Will try the restaurant next time.

Everything on the course is in great condition except the greens on the front 9 and a couple on the back. The greens here have always been immaculate but the past year or so has been rough. Stopped playing here for that reason but if they can get the greens back to where they were in 2011, then this will again be one of my favorites courses in the charleston area.

Great course for the money, will make it my go to course. Greens needed some repair but over all enjoyed the course.

Got a great deal online, $18 for a round. Fairways were in great shape, and while the greens were being aerated it was well worth the cost of admission. Nice track

Lots of water and a challenging course. But a lot of fun for the average to good golfer

You can't beat the price for this course that we paid through Golf Now. I don't know what the conditions will be in the Summer months, but it was worth the amount we paid. I would play it again in the condition it was in without question.

I enjoyed the experience, Challenging but fair. Lots of water and elevation changes, I will be back soon.

Fairways hard and lots of roll due to lack of rain. Greens are much improved from 6-12months ago but still need some work (B-). Great course layout - played many times and will return more often now that green conditions are better.

Very nice course with some challenging play. Lovely clubhouse and neighborhood. All the staff was courteous, and using golfnow.com was quick and easy. No hassle checking in.

I have played at quite a few courses in the south and I can say that this is one of the nicest I have played at. Very well maintained. I was very impressed with how great the course is. Very challenging. Actually caused me to shoot over 90, which does not happen too often anymore. Lots of water to swallow your ball if you don't play it right. Just overall a beautiful course.

Played on Mother's Day, so it was not crowded and they let the starter go home. Carts are electric and in good condition, but the cart paths were in very poor condition. Tee boxes were OK, but the fairways were rock hard so you could get a lot of roll. but sometimes too much and roll into one of the many water hazards. The greens were rough and not true. Lots of exposed tree roots that penalized lies. Bunkers need attention. Has a lot of potential, but it looks like there is no investment in improvements. Disappointing.

This was a great deal. Course is challenging, but fair. Greens could use some work, but they ran true. Can't run up to the greens.

Greens were a little rough to putt in a few cases. All in all, I would play it again sometime.

Not a lot of bunkers, a number of holes with water, lateral hazards/ob's on most holes. Can only remember one non par 3 that was straight, everything else had some bend.

Interesting course, hit the ball straight, greens were a bit slow so there was not as much break as the read would indicate.

Would play again

The course was very wet, but we had recieved lots of rain in the days before our round. The layout of the course was very challenging. Lots of water in tough locations.

Rangers need to do a better job at maintaining the pace of play. I played singular behind a 4 some, that took 3 hrs for 9 holes. I quit after the 9 holes due to the pace of play and not being granted a pass through.
