Blue/Red at Dandridge Golf & Country Club

First time at this course. The layout is great, and the course played well. However, there was a group having a beer scramble infront of us. They were holding play up for everyone! We played 18 and it took 5 1/2hrs. Multiple groups were stacked up and play was slow. The scramble was getting hammered drunk and running carts all over and course, letting carts roll down the hills backwards, and hitting multiple balls from all over. One thing to know is if you want to have an alcoholic beverage, bring your own. First time in my life of golfing, this place says bring your own. They do not serve alcohol. I’m sure the food there is great, people were eating it up, I just did not have anything to eat while we were there.

Only part of this course that wasn’t pleasant were the tee boxes. Could of used a hammer to put the tees in the ground. Everything else was great. Greens were nice. Fairways were good.

Good course for the price. 3-3’s, 3-4’s, and 3-5’s on all 9 hole tracks. Not long, smallish greens.

We were golfing in the middle of the day. Not early am. Every green we approached was being soaked and the water was puddling on the greens. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the water to stop so we could go chip and putt.

Fairways and rough was in great shape. The greens need some TLC and the blue tee boxes are very close to being lost on 1/2 of the holes. The greens have dead spots and look burnt up in a lot of places, and if you somehow managed to avoid those spots then you’ll have 10 pitch marks left in your line. Overall a fun course but the scoring conditions were poor and needs some TLC before it’s worth $45

No water in ball washers, no grass on fairways, tee boxes are dirt and greens have divots in them.

My husband and I really enjoyed playing this course. We were on vacation and played it twice.

Booked for a single, the front desk did not inform me I would be paired with 2 other people till after paying, so I kindly asked for a refund and was told no. So, I left without playing.

My wife and I play Danridge every time we are in the Smokey Mountains. It has 3 nines and all are enjoyable. I sure you will have a good time and most of the views are amazing.
