About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Course Condition
Fairways hasn’t. Been maintained well, hitting on hard pan. Greens are the only descent condition.

Terrible course, unreal price. 5 hour round. Teed off 20 min late
Unreal how a course in a desirable area of Southern California can be so poorly run and poorly managed. Such a stain on the area that this course is a dog track. I’d like a refund or a pass for a round in the future.

Third World Golf Course
Felt like I was playing golf in a third world country. Fairways, lakes and surrounding foilage completely dried out. Driving range netting and golf carts in complete disrepair. The foul odor of fresh diarrhea on the front nine. Pace of play and greens were decent. Course has potential with all the old charm, unfortunately it is in complete ruin!! Won't be back.

Marshalls need to move it along.
While it was my group who was slowing the entire course down, it's not my job playing as a single playing with strangers to keep it moving.
They were really nice guys, but after your tenth hack from the rough, you should know (or be told by the marshall) to pick it up and putt. And, while putting you don't need to tap in putts that are three inches from the cup. Just a little talking to after seeing the group teeoff from the marshall at the starting hole or another reminder while on the course would do just fine. Not the course to play when you've only played once before in your life... no joke.

Dirt clod sand traps
Sand traps were hard as a rock. Lots of dry spots on fairway. Fix your irrigation. Course reeks like pooh That is all

Potential Gem
This course has the potential to be great. Love the layout and how challenging the wind effects each hole. The course does need some updating and that is well documented but I could see what this place could be if things turn around. This place has good bones and I’m hoping to come back and see the changes that are being discussed enhance this place. Good luck to you all involved. RG

I like the course and the temperature out here during the summer!
We were a group of 3 players and had a good time! My friend said that the course might be shutting down due to Developments, Is that true?
The restaurant were closed also.
Hopefully that’s not the case! I think it could be a great course with a little bit more maintenance and some more amenities.

Poor course
Fairways are real bad, T boxes are in loor condition and uneven to stand. They allow guys to wear T shirts and jeans, no golf etiquette, restrooms are junk, golf cart have bald tires, ripped seats, and it stinks like sewer, so sad, I sean groups of 6. just a dump of a place to play

Course is great when the price is right.
I like this course given it’s close to me and the cost can be somewhat low making it all the more worth it. However, the smell is pretty bad near by on a few holes and when cost is high, I try to avoid coming here and head somewhere with a little better course upkeep. But overall I enjoy the course and would recommend it but only with certain prices listed.
