About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Greens ok. The rest not.
I tried to enjoy playing here for the first time. First tee was extremely backed up went out 30 minutes late. 3 hour front 9! I left at the turn. Greens in immaculate shape, fairways need a lot of TLC. I was told the course was just recently purchased. This place has a lot of potential but I’m pretty sure I won’t be returning.

Pretty course with nice mountain vistas but the fairways and rough need a lot of work . Way to many many gopher issues , lot of free drops from being in them though 😂😂
Got a good deal but the course in the condition it was in was a very big disappointment !! Nice greens but that’s not enough for return visit until improvements are done !

impecible greens
The course has new owners so they say give them about 2 years to make it very nice.
Greens are fantastic but the fairways are somewhat beat up and the rough, well its the rough! Sometimes just dirt.
Fees are lowest around Ventura Co. as it should be. Like I said a work in progress but if other courses are full up, fairly easy to book a tee time and have fun playing

Groups of 6 every weekend
The last 5 times I've played there I've seen at least 1 group of six players

The course is good and work is being done tobring it back from being neglected.
Brand nee carts driving range is being re done.
The course will soon be back to it’s back past pristine condition.
One negative is the do allow five 5 players in a group which really slows done play.

Camarillo Springs improving
I've played this course many times going back to the 1970's. Over the years many changes have occurred. The last owner left the course in bad condition. The new owners are making a concerted effort to bring the course back. I can see improvement since they assumed control. Progress is slow and they have their priorities but things are better. The layout has always been interesting. As yet there is bo food service but snacks and drinks are available. I live nearby and play the course several times per year. Kudos to the new owners.

Fairway grass not good, they had few signage,
and no trash can and no ball washer.

Worst tee boxes in 3 counties.... They don't even know
They don't know how important level tee boxes are.
Brandon, you have been a regular participant at our course for a long time, and we appreciate your dedication. You also know the history, and the new owners are investing a significant amount of resources into the property, which takes time. Tee boxes are on that schedule. We do know the importance. We also know, this is not the time of year to execute that project if you do it right. These owners took over a very deferred property, a long list to execute, but it will be done. 2.5 hour front nine again.
Another 8 some ruined the day again. Yes, a group of eight players.... 2.5 hour front nine,left after 10 holes for the 3rd time in a row. I know weekends are slower than weekdays but this is ridiculous.
Brandon, call the golf shop at first sight of this. Coming on a review board post-round doesn't solve a problem in real time.
It will take time to get these groups to learn those days are over and takes constant enforcement. We appreciate your support, now help us help you and all our golfers. Thank you.
