About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Course is getting better
There doing a lot of work on the course and it really shows. It still needs a little more work but its getting there. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Even have new carts.

Another Shot
I have played Camarillo many times. It is sad to see. The course should be sold to someone who cares. It is a disgrace from the clubhouse to every hole on the course.

Don't bother
As other reviewers have mentioned, the fairways in are in pretty bad shape with bald patches everywhere. The greens themselves are in pretty good condition, which is the only redeeming quality of the golf course right now. I have played this course on and off for the last fifteen years, and this is the worst shape.I've heard i've ever seen it in. To cap things off the men's and women's restroom at the clubhouse, we're not working. This means when we arrived, we had to get a cart and drive up to the second hole in other in order to go to the back bathroom. Between the lack of bathrooms and the pace of play and the conditions my wife and I decided to leave after playing eleven holes; really not worth it.

Not worth any price
Everything on this course was bad. The fairways are horrible. The tee boxes are horrible.
We played 3 holes. It took almost 2 hours.
No marshal. No organization whatsoever.
Pace of play is non-existent

Course needs to be cleaned up and re done
Course wasn’t very clean and there are a lot of bare spots on the course. The man who worked the pro shop was disrespectful when we got there. We got there 1 minute after our tee time and made a rude comment about how we were supposed to tee off 1 minute ago and gave us attitude. Wouldn’t play this course again.
