About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Course needs to be cleaned up and re done
Course wasn’t very clean and there are a lot of bare spots on the course. The man who worked the pro shop was disrespectful when we got there. We got there 1 minute after our tee time and made a rude comment about how we were supposed to tee off 1 minute ago and gave us attitude. Wouldn’t play this course again.

Complete Renovation Needed
The course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. They actually charged us to play on this track when they should have paid us to play. Not worth playing a round unless you just need to get out and practice. Fairway is in awful shape and the driving range nets are falling apart making it dangerous to be on hole 11. (Shredded net so no protection.)
I really hope a renovation is on the books for 2025 because it’s a beautiful location and could be a very picturesque round of golf… but it needs a complete overhaul.

Fun cold day!
Busy Thanksgiving week! but great fun being out. Low hanging marine layer down around 200 feet...we were looking for King Kong to come cruising down the mountain... Course was in fair shape, greens were excellent.

Figure out what you’re doing with this course
This course is a dump. Fairways are full of dead grass and dirt, yet somehow everything is flooded despite the fact that it hasn’t rained in 6 months. Also, golf now quoted me one price as I booked it and the pro shop charged me $16 more. When I brought it up they just said no it’s a holiday. That price is reflected on golfnow on every other course. The only plus side is that it was empty on a holiday, because nobody that actually values golf would play here.

It is ok
The fairways are in rough shape and the tee boxes are really worn out. However, the pace of play was great. We finished in 4 hours 5 minutes. Staff was friendly. I just think I can find a much better course for $65. Overall, not the best course condition-wise but I still had a good experience today.
