Randolph Oaks Golf Course
About
The Randolph Oaks Golf Course is an 18-hole course that provides 7,172 yards of championship golf located only thirty minutes from downtown. After a much-needed update, the course now boasts renovated greens and sand traps that provide more challenge than the original design.
It is an enjoyable course to walk, making it a good option for juniors and seniors. The layout features a cut of rough around the greens, which have several breaks in them that make them pretty tricky. There are also numerous strategically placed sand bunkers. Randolph Oaks is open year-round and it also offers a lighted driving range with putting greens for golfers to get some extra practice.

It’s a decent course for the value
Course is in decent shape, greens are OK, except one where there was bare spot.
The layout is ordinary, but it’s ok for the rate. Flat and easy to walk. If you like planes taking on and off. Great, but if you don’t like noise, I wouldn’t recommend.
Overall, a nice experience
Randolph Oaks Golf Course
Unfortunately the course was very dry because we've had no rain! The fairways are rough but the greens are reasonable the bunkers were average and the pace of play was very slow! But for the $13 I spent it came out very well
Slow play
Lovely course but too busy, no course Marshall’s, slow pace of play made the game unenjoyable.
No golf carts
It was a windy cold day. the staff did not bring out the golf carts. I normally walk so no big deal to me. nice food counter. greens in good shape. thick rough. long course with lots of sand and water.
Greens are very good.
Early in golf year. Fairways are dormant. Needs rain but the greens are very good. The four sand traps I was in were very good. Just needs some time. I would definitely recommend this golf course.
Good value for a decent GC
I played this course as a visitor to the Schertz area for the first time with my son. The course was in winter condition, but all thing considered it was in good shape. The course layout i flat, with numerous dog legs, and some water. The sand bunkers are placed well, and the greens played slower than average. The clubhouse is very nice with plenty of amenities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The driving range is good size, but we did not use the putting greens so I can't comment of it. One negative is the power carts are very old, and ours lost power on the back none, but we called the clubhouse and they sent out a replacement immediately. It is important to know that you will need to get a 6 month pass to enter the base if you are not active or retired military, but the process is fairly simple. All in all, we enjoyed our round, and will play the course again.
Greens were excellent, fairways not so much but overall a fabulous value
Great day with great friends
Beautiful weather and course conditions made for a perfect round of golf - who needs to keep score on those days?!
Randolf
Great course and great conditions. Will be making many more trips to visit.
Course was in pretty good condition for the end of January.
Long course for average players
The staff is friendly. As a senior female I find the holes long. Even par threes are very long. It would be nice if they put tee offs for juniors and seniors. Many courses are making such changes to accommodate the less athletic who just want to enjoy the game. The bonus would be they wouldn't hold up the game. We let 3 groups through but I still worry that we are frustrating groups behind us. The airplanes are a bonus.
Excellent greens and overall a great layout.. watching the F5s and the prop training planes was a thrill
Greens were excellent and the fairways were better than the other military courses I have played
