Beautiful day on a beautiful course
My first time playing here in a few years. It's in much better shape now than the last time. Had a great time playing this fun course. It has a mix of holes that are tight, open, hilly, sloped, doglegs, short and long. The greens were in very good shape. Some had more break than others. It's a challenging course with some holes that require placement shots. Make sure you play the correct tees also.
Excellenct staff and course
The staff were wonderful. From checkin to the guys mowing, everyone was very nice and thoughtful.
Best public course in the Charlottesville area. Beautiful layout. Really fits the eye. Nice fairways and greens.

The course is in great condition from the tee boxes, the bunkers, fairways and greens.
It’s a fun course to play with enough water challenges for both the average and low HC player. The clubhouse is one of the nicest in the area and there is a sense of pride in the whole operation.
A day playing Lake Monticello
Great Course. Course was saturated with the amount of rain we have had in the last week. Other than being wet, it was still a great day to be out with friends playing. I would recommend this course to anyone passing through the area that may want to get out and play a round that won't hurt the wallet. Staff keeps the course in great shape.
First timer
First time playing Lake Monticello . It's a good track! The course was in good shape for February. It'll be really good once the Bermuda pops!!
Golfday
Course was wet of course because of a lot of rain. Course was in very good shape for this time of year and weather. Stall friendly as always. Good day!
Worth the Drive
This was the only Charlottesville area course listed on Tee Off, and the reviews were good, so I gave it a try. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the course on a beautiful fall day. Nice layout, and overall the course was in good condition. The greens had been aerated about two weeks before we played but were in decent shape. The clubhouse appeared to have been recently renovated and was very nice. The golf carts were also nearly new and in excellent condition. I would play there again despite the 30 minute drive from town.
