There are many bare ground on the fairway. it's very bad condition.

Scheduled a 730am tee time. Showed up early to hit some balls at the range to warm up and was told that the range didn’t open til 9am due to maintenance. Shortly after paying for our green fees some regulars showed up and were allowed to hit on the green, yet my group still wasn’t. Strike 1. There was no check in for tee times after you paid so it didn’t matter what time your tee time was, people just walked out to the tee and teed off even though we were supposed to go first. Again, the course did nothing. Strike 2. The course itself was in absolutely HORRIBLE condition. The fairways are 80% hard dirt. The “grass” that is there is in patches and you could probably call them weeds before you could call them grass. I’ve never see a course in worse condition. The fact that they charge $40-$50 to play and ride here is a joke. Save your money or go somewhere else. There are plenty of other courses in this price range that are leaps and bounds better. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here again.

tees and greens are fine, outside of that maybe 1/4 of the time there was ok grass, the rest was either weeds or dirt . I had maybe 3 decent lies in the fairway. reminds me if Ted Makalena GC in Hawaii, where it's just mostly dirt and so you just work on hitting down the whole round. At least the ball runs really far.

This course is $47 most of the time for 18 holes and includes a cart. The range is in great shape, the greens are taken care of and the tee boxes are either great or nothing but crab grass. Outside of that it's a waste of money. 85% of this course is nothing but dirt/silt. Its honestly horrible. There is dead foliage everywhere that a member from a cigar smoking player could easily set off. The san traps are hard and full of rocks. Dont waste your money. I played 7 holes before finally seeing the group behind me on hole 2 and caught up to the group in front of me. If this course would shut down for a couple months and get the grass back in the fairways, get some real sand in the traps, get all the dead foliage out and maintain it all, this would be a good course honestly. I will not play this course again until it's been taken care of.

Nice layout, fairways are in poor condition, but greens are pretty well kept.

Although course layout is links style and could be good, don't waste your time or money. Worst fairway conditions I've ever experienced at any course played. Hardly any grass, mostly dirt with a few patches of grass. Only positive were the greens.

Checking in at 9 AM on a Saturday and being told it was "pretty quiet" out there should have been my first clue! I guess bad news travels fast within the golf community.

This course has soooo much potential! Why can’t the fairways look as good as the driving range? This course would be #1 in LA if it had some good fairways. Even decent ones would make this course the best in LA. Greens never disappoint. Pace of play was awesome. Just wish the fairways improved. Course site states they’re being worked on but having played this course every few months I can’t tell the difference.

I realize it’s a$20 public course but the fairways were half dirt, not dead grass but dirt!! Looks like they haven’t watered the grass for years!! Every shot lands on dirt/rocks and then you have to move it to grass if you can find any for your next shot. Do yourself a favor and play a different course if at all possible!!

It’s really a shame that they can’t grow grass in the fairways in this dump because it’s a good layout and could be a great public course if they could figure out a way to grow.

The course could be fun if the was grass. Hit it in the middle of the fairway and end up on pure dirt, no grass. It was a complete joke. They have totally let the fairways and rough go bye bye. Greens were still nice.

Bummer it’s on a landfill and they can’t get the grass to grow in the fairways. It’s a great layout, just needs grass

Not worth the money. I wish I saw pictures before I booked here, completely falling apart and no one seems to care.

Took 2.5 hours to play 6 holes. Lots of slow foursomes playing for 25 cents marking out everything and taking lifetimes on every shot. Can’t wait that long to play a dirt track

The course condition was horrible. Your ball will pretty much land on a dirt surface before you get to the green. I found myself constantly picking up my ball and placing it on patches of grass for my next shot. If you hit off the dirt surface you risk breaking a club or risking an injury. The bunkers have hard compressed sand in them. The price they charge for a round is ridiculous with that course condition. This course is only good for the driving range and putting greens.

I heard this course had been renovated or updated with a nice driving range,which is great because they are disappearing at a fast pace..as for the course,the fairways are barren in many spots but you can hit from there.be careful to hit straight,although there is no water you will list balls in the weed area which runs pretty much throughout the course. now my son is getting into golf and this course is perfect for beginners very forgiving with fairly wide playing areas.and all of the greens are in great shape,I will play there again.

The layout of this course is really good. It’s such a shame that the fairways are in desperate need of work. The greens are immaculate and roll really nicely. Pace of play is okay considering there is no marshall.
