Fastest Greens Ever!
This was my first time back since the course reopened and the greens were like putting on glass. They were so fast. I was annoyed that they decided to actively wet the practice putting green while we were trying to warm up on a Saturday morning. Maybe they should at least try to do that during a non-peak time...like as soon as they open.
Except for the tee box mats (I understand why) I am very happy playing this course. I just hope it doesn’t get too crowded because the greens are beautiful and challenging!
newly renovated
I like this little course so that I can work on my short game and putting. A great place to bring a beginner to get a feel for the game. The Starter was pleasant and the temporary restrooms are clean, they are building a restaurant next to the course and I understand it will be as nice as Penmar's set-up. Enjoy an hour of golf on your lunch break is a good idea.
Great golf time
Found this hidden gem of a golf course. It’s a 3 par course It is newly renovated. The greens are immaculate. The price is incredible. They can’t be beat. No excuse not playing golf.
Nice little course. Well maintained. Friendly staff (and players).
Great course for beginners yardage is short to the greens well maintained golf course worth the money.Pace of play was good we finished in under 1 hour
So many Par 3's
Many par 3 courses to choose in the LA area. This was a fun one for me and my son, Nothing too challenging just plain fun.
Very fun round
What a find! The place is in pristine condition and costs around $10 to play. Best value and quick pace of play. I will definitely be playing here again
Relaxing, Beautiful and Community Filled!
Maggie Hathaway is quickly becoming one of the most compelling public courses in LA. The conditions are excellent, with a layout that’s both fun and thoughtfully maintained, but what really stands out is the energy and intention behind the place.
You can feel the impact of new stewardship. There is a clear effort to make it more welcoming, community-driven, and culturally relevant than your typical course.
It already delivers a memorable round, but it feels like it is building toward something much bigger with future programming, events, and overall vision. Definitely worth playing now and keeping an eye on.
