Dogwood Trace Golf Course

Good challenge but very playable for average golfers. It’s nice for a municipal course. Very well kept and staff is super nice. Great value for the money.

Rated in top 10 in the state. Quality course with quality price tag. Play here again definitely.

I wasn't expecting it to rain much on the selected day I chose to play, but it did up to 10min after I arrived. After the rain stopped and other players left, I decided to go ahead and play still. I'm glad I did b/c it ended up being a smooth day on the course and didn't rain again until 10min after I finished the 18th hole. Maybe it was meant for me to use that day as a good day of practice. The staff was great while everyone who was there to play were also very friendly. I look forward to coming back to this course again in the near future.

Staff was extremely pleasant to deal with. Set me up with tee time and cart very quickly. Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was great. Did 18 holes in less than four hours.

Played the round with a chap visiting from Scotland, and really enjoyed it. Course in good shape, particularly given the time of year. The clubhouse and cafe staff are always great, as is James, the starter. James is exactly the type of upbeat, personable starter a course needs, as he sets the tone for an enjoyable round. Pace of play was great. I’ll definitely be back.

I was able to hit everything in my bag. Tee boxes and fairways are in ok shape considering it’s been cold and the Bermuda grass is mostly dormant. Greens are good but could be much better is people would repair their pitch marks.

Course was in pretty good condition for this time of year. Greens have been aerated probably 3-4 weeks ago. You could see the lunch marks but it didn’t effect putting. A little bit of sand still on the greens but it really didn’t effect anything.

the course was pretty wet from recent snow and rains, but the dormant turf is still decent to hit from, traps well raked and greens in good shape. still a fun day (almost 60 degrees in February!) so a greatt Hot Deal

played 4 and a half hours and left still on 15. greens were decent but pace of play from 4th hole on was horrid. called auto system and lady said she would notify staff to get marshall out there but we had little hope of that because only one person was working in entire proshop/dinning area.

Upon walking into the pro shop my score card, cart key and tee time was all layed out for me. This is a very effecient and well oiled operation. The staff is extremely friendly and lets you know that they appreciate you choosing Dogwood to golf. The golf course is always in excellent playing conditions including tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens.
