Good features
The greens were under maintenance so weren’t true but good
Awesome course with a one off
We had an awesome day on the course. Wonderful layout and challenging spots with others that helped boost your confidence. Only complaint was the group in front of us connected with another group and had 7 players. The couple behind us told the Marshall and it took a little while for it to be resolved so we had an hour or so of added time on the course waiting around. Ended up being a great day and I know this wasn’t a normal occurrence. Not the courses fault, these people made it a long day is all.
Excellent Course
I’m sure playing in the early afternoon on a Monday helped the pace of play but this course is awesome. Also ends with a bang or should I say splash on 18
Too slow.
We all quit our round at hole 12. Almost 3 hours to play 9 holes!. We waited behind a 4-some who waited behind two 2-somes who were waiting behind a terribly slow 4-some. There were two open fairways in front of this 4-some. The course is good but is too crowded in the morning.

Sleepy Hole is always a good course wiyh lots of vhallenging holes.

Four of us played, two Friends from the UK; all enjoyed the round.

For an enjoyable time golfing try Sleepy Hole.
An unexpected layout for the Hampton Roads area was a pleasant surprise.
Historic location
Excellent value for the money. One of my favorite courses in the area. Good length and nice design. Tee boxes and fairways well maintained. Greens are nice and tricky, but a couple of the greens are getting a tad rough.
Memorable Experience
We enjoyed our outing to Sleeper Hole GC very much. We are planning our next round.
Saturday Fun Day
Sleepy Hole is a well maintained course. I enjoyed playing there, and it was challenging.
