Not Terrible
The greens were just aerated and were super sandy and fast the tee boxes needed some work but for the price to play it's a good value course. The driving range was in bad condition as well but for two bucks for a bucket of balls and only 20 dollars to play it's hard to beat that price for a round of golf

Play was slow on the back nine due to a few new golfers that were all over the course but overall a nice day
Early in season
Very friendly staff, course was dry but very early in season, lots of water to hit over or around. Think if later in season would be a lot more fun to play but still had a great time.

Pine Cones!
Course had a unique layout, especially the back 9. Greens were quite nice for the time of year. Pace of play was slow, but it was a Saturday, so temper expectations on the weekends. Overall, a fun course but watch out for falling pinecones on a windy day, nearly hit twice on the tee box! Several holes require finesse off the Tee with plenty of water to worry about. 4 out of 5 stars and can't beat the course for the money!
Kempsville Greens
We knew there wouldn't be much grass on the fairways because of the time of year but the fairways we're in pretty good shape. The greens were a little bumpy. Overall I would recommend this course

Staff was friendly and course was in good shape for February. Would definitively play here again.

there was no one behind us no one pushing us the marshal drove over to us and said we where 15 minutes behind that we need to speed up play nobody was waiting on us we where trying to enjoy the nice weather and a round of golf we will not be back to kempsville greens the staff in pro shop was very nice and helpful
