Kempsville Greens Golf Course

The course is in excellent condition except for the greens. They were bumpy, due ti being aerated just a couple of weeks ago. I want to come back and play it again real soon.

The course was amazing! I had a lot of fun. The only pain point was that I went and bought a beet for the second half of 18. I was one of the last players (my tea time was around 3 PM) and the staff member seemed annoyed. I bought one beer and he said it was $7 for a corse light (he gave himself a larger tip I suppose because that's not how much they cost). I did not ask for a receipt checked my bank statement a few days later and the cost of my 1 beer was $17.00! So that was not ideal.

Again the course itself, was fantastic, and I'll be back. But ill ask for a receipt...

Golf course in motion better condition than previously noted. Lots of houses lots of water not good for the beginning golfer.

This has got to be the worst course in Virginia Beach, the fairways are like you're hitting out of a cow pasture, the Marshall said the greens were good cause they've been working on them for the past year,but they were horrible they were patchy and tore up. I highly recommend not wasting you're money here unless you plan on getting drunk.

Challenging back nine but a good course at a fairly reasonable price.

I'm a beginner, and this was my first one-on-one game ever played. We had a foursome, and had a great time. Everybody there - other players and staff - were respectful and friendly. I can't say how challenging the course was since it was my first game and, well, I'm certainly not ready for the Masters yet. I would recommend the course to a friend, and will play there again.

This could be a great course to play but it has been neglected for too long. It is still a good value for the price

I play Kempsville greens a lot because the course is close to my neighborhood and very convenient to play after work in the summer. But I have a hard time understanding where all my green fees go because in the last two years, there have been zero improvements to this course and it seems to get just a little bit worse every time I play it. If you’re looking for a quick 9 after work, it’s below average at best, but if you’re looking for a decent course, I would stick to Cypress stumpy Redwing or any of the other courses in VB.

I had not played at Kempsville for a couple of years due to course conditions but the crew has clearly worked hard to improve the greens which were fairly horrible in years gone by. The fairways were also in nice shape in most areas. I played very early so pace of play was a nonissue. The staff in the clubhouse are always welcoming. Overall, I think you get good value for money when just trying to get out and enjoy the walk.
