Rude employees on multiple occasions. They cram tee times in and rush you. Ive been told to pick up the pace when the nearest group was 2 holes back
Best course for a budget
I live right up the road from kempsville and it’s definitely my favorite time waster because of how cheap 9/18 are. There’s been a few times we’ve got behind walkers from 9 - 12:30 which kinda sucks but they’ve usually let us play through. Overall great course.
I'm handicapped
The course was cart path only on Tuesday. I'm handicapped and can only play 90 degrees. It hadn't rained in 2 days and I thought the course would be okay. I got there to late to cancel.
There’s Much Better
Been here three times, but after the last trip, I’m done. Guy at the first hole was smoking cigs and throwing butts on the tee boxes, didn’t know I was supposed to check in with him so he gave me attitude for not stopping to tell him I was playing. Then he stops my wife mid swing to say she can’t golf without her own set, which no one had ever told me either other time I’ve been there. Followed us for three holes to make sure my wife didn’t play, then went back to smoking on the first tee. Got back to the clubhouse and asked when the policy changed, to which they said it’s always been that way. Didn’t offer a refund or a discounted future round, just said “Well, we have rental clubs.” so I know that the rule only exists because they’re greedy. I’ll hit balls into the side of my house before I go back.
Fun course
I enjoyed playing this course it required some careful aiming and strategy.

Layout is nice. Tee boxes are a disaster! Several holes have a hitting mat that you can't even put a tee into!

Afternoon play before getting dark. Played only 9. Front nine very straight minimal hazards. Back nine is where all the real water can get you. The new greens are really coming in good still work to be done in tee boxes not so great. The course is convenient for me
Course was in pretty good shape, had a great time.
