The course needs some TLC.
Every trap both green side and fairway needs to be “Gutted “ out. Fresh pure sand like the sand used in their traps on the course like I just played today NOV. 9th at The Fort Myer Golf and Country Club original. Municipial Course ( DONALD Ross ). This course was half the price of Lely Mustang course. I was and still am disappointed the Mustang course is using sand and pebble stones / rocks for their traps that is also used to make concrete for ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN BUILDING HIGHWAYS & FREEWAYS. TIME will TELL IF I’LL BE BACK. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Have a GREAT DAY.
A single jumped in front
My round was going well up until a single player jumped in in front of us at hole 10 ? When we asked him why he was doing this he said a ranger had placed him there and that I had no golf edict for asking him . He also became very agitated and angry toward us for the rest of the round . I really wanted to speak to someone about this after my round but there wasn’t anyone around . The proshop was closed and no starters around. Always had the impression that Mustang was squared away with their pace of play and tee times but unfortunately not today.

Nice course. Forgiving layout. Great greens. Not very crowded so play was not slow.

Course was in great shape, relatively uncrowded. Staff very friendly and professional both inside and out. Would highly recommend!
Great afternoon !
We played the Mustang course in the afternoon and had the course to ourselves. Granted it is before the high season here in Naples. The staff was very friendly and efficient . The course was in great shape & the greens were fast & true. We found the course to be a very good challenge. and look forward to playing git again.

Fun round even after crazy rain yesterday
Lely is always fun except for the pace of play. Waiting at every hole completely messed with my head. Otherwise definitely a fun course with many challenges.
