Fox Hollow Golf Club

Course is near mint. Greens are true. Pro shop said they were overseading for the next 10 days. So it’s going to be cat path only after the day we played.

A pleasure to play Fox Hollow. One of the better courses in the area.

Course in great shape.....nice greens rolled true.

Very close tee times. Cart girl only seen once and the clubhouse closing before dusk. But, the course still rocks.

No beverage cart on course, seems like a bogey in my books. But they were sable to have a Marshall tell us we were playing slow.

Fox Hollow has been one of my favorite courses to play as of yet in the Tampa area. The holes in front of the club house are beautiful. The greens are very well groomed and roll at a somewhat quick, yet very playable pace. Fairways in great condition. The course is a bit more on the challenging side, but not too bad to where you’re afraid to get after it. I will definitely be going back! Definitely recommend coming out here for anyone looking for a some views and a challenge.

First time playing here and it is not worth $75, maybe $50 but it is not in the condition to be charging $75.

It was a slow course as well. Round took 5 hours.

As always staff is very responsive and got us out early…Course was in great condition and pace of play was fantastic as we saw no one on the course until the group that was way ahead of us came back to retrieve a club they had left on the green. Appreciate you driving our 4th guy out to us as he was a bit late due to traffic. Will definitely return and let people know how good the course is.

Compared to the last several times I’ve played here, this was bad. I experienced very wet course conditions, obvious draining issues. None of the bunkers had sand in them, and if it did, they hadn’t been raked in several days. Fairways were full of grass clippings and very wet. Tees were fuzzy; needs a tighter mow. Greens were good except tooooo slow. Could have been mowed and rolled much tighter.

As I said, much different than what I was used to. It almost seems to appear that they are not paying attention to the golf course.

Having played here maybe 5 or 6 times in the last few years , I have noticed a decline in conditions , the bunkers are a waste lands, the greens were slow compared to what I had been used to in the past, and two holes due to water we’re not par 4’s anymore rather very short par 3 !

In addition several holes were cart path only. I understand weather can cause problems but this can be fixed with drainage.spend some of the money your making

The worst part was we teed of 30 mins late , frankly not that difficult to get the starter to do their jobs ! 5 hour 22 round ! I can normally get round. Golf course in 3 hours !

Course had gotten a lot of rain and it showed. There were 6 holes that were cart path only and 2 holes on the back that were moved up and were less than 100yd par 3s from decent sized par 4s. Would think they would discount due to all of that, lol still charged close to $70 and they were delayed about 30 mins due to hole 1 being cart path only. So, we were supposed to tee off at 937 and didn’t tee off till 10ish. Got there an hour early to hit balls on range due to taking a little over a week off and range was closed. So, all in all a little disappointed cause this is usually a very well maintained course with decent pace of play

Plenty of challenging holes and lots of fairway to work with, on most holes. Rain is always an issue since this course does not drain well. Cart path only almost every time I play here. Staff is always friendly and club house has good food and drinks.

It took 5 hours and 30 mins to play a round. Tee times are spaced too close together. Charge more and space your tee times out more. People will still play because you have a nice course. But no one wants to take 5.5 hours to play. No one!

The course was fantastic. …I have to note that I okayed under ‘cart oath only’ conditions. So it’s slowed the pace and affected the conditions. But I’m not going to fault the course for mother natures issues. Just be aware the course has places where it gets wet so consider that before making your tee time. Outside of that the course was In beautiful shape. Any issues we marked as ground under repair so relief was an option making it fair. Nice practice area although the range was also closed. Nice layout. I payed whites at 6300 yds and it makes you think hitting driver all the time. Risk reward with it. Definitely worth playing but it’s not cheap. Fiat price.

Has always been one of my top 10 golf course in Florida and is still there. Kudos to the starter for getting us out early as there were spaces on the tee sheet. Course was in great condition considering the rain we had gotten.

I will never play here again. Simply because of the staff.
