Fox Hollow Golf Club

The last two times I booked this course using golf now, I arrive on time, check in and proceed to watch foursomes tee off one after another. The pro shop doesn’t talk to the starters and the whole thing is a mess

Have played this course hundreds of times over past 25 years. It is better than average course. I like the greens, best part. After playing for awhile everything looks the same.

I wonder why there has been no imagination to do landscaping in certain areas;.flowers, plants and

trees. A little color on the course, you know what I mean.

I played here 2 months ago and the course was in much better condition. I did notice that some holes had been aerated in the fairway and it felt like the greens were cut but not rolled. I still would play here again.

Came out for a round after a week of quarantine as I had been exposed to Covid-19 positive persons. I elected an individual tee time specifically to properly distance myself from others. Head pro insisted that I was paired in a cart and wanted to charge me $25 additional dollars, despite the circumstances. Needless to say, I requested a refund and went to another course that was more empathetic and understanding of my situation.

Excellent experience Definitely a favorite course in the area especially with the rates were there app on GolfNow this time of year after the snowbirds have flown the coop! Hands-down amazing practice facility to tune your game up!

Most of the fairways had large tines punched big pieces of dirt and grass all over the fairways, it was lift clean in place. Greens were in good shape a few had dirt spots on them where the grass was bare. Overall course was fine only exception was the maintenance on the fairways which needs to be done periodically.

Normally I do recommend this course. I constantly tell people it's the best course that's open to the public; in the Tampa area. But not yesterday. Even though I showed up 1 hr early. I couldn't get a cart until 5 min before t-time. Played here twice this year. Happened both times. This is unacceptable. Players need relax time to prepare to play. Playing partners were all good guys. Course condition very poor. Fairways recently aerated. Scheduled maintenance happens. They just don't warn you. Greens were in good condition. But very slow. Rough & bunkers were in very poor condition. I paid $33, so I can't complain too much. But the normal rates are $60-75. If i was a member. I wouldn't be very happy right now. I'll be back to play it. Luckily I'm going out of town for 2 months. That should be just right.

So I don't recommend Fox Hollow, for @ least 1 months.

This course is always in good shape.. The greens are slow but in good condition. Nice fairways. I would recommend this course to anyone. It’s the best value for a public course.

Fox Hollow is always one of my favorite courses to play in the area. It has challenging holes and is always in great condition!

I had a good time playing there . The course had a good lay out.

Per my "star" review, the layout and amenities were good! There a few greens with a lot of sand on them. Also, the fairways need some love...

Course was in good shape. Greens looked good but were slow. Sand traps need work. Grass growing in bunkers. Pace was ok we did it in 4 hours.

Course conditions were better than expected. We played another public course that was in really rough shape and were told that most of the area courses were that way. Greens were extremely slow so it took some getting used to. Playing time was as advertised 4:15. We waited on tees but not too long. It's a challenging course especially if you miss the greens.

This course probably has everything you need: water, (some) rolling hills, elevated greens, forced longs, forced doglegs, etc. The greens look very good but they are relatively slow. This would be a much better course if the greens roll much faster. Some holes are relatively straightforward and some require a little strategic planning. There are a few signature holes to make this course interesting and increase the level of challenges. As seen from the pictures, some tee boxes need some needs maintenance work. For a south Floridian, I am willing to play courses with plenty of elevation changes in northern Florida; however, this course still offers me plenty of fun.
