Fox Hollow Golf Club

Course was in great condition. Greens were true and quick. Unfortunately I could only finish 14 holes. Not due to slow play just torrential rain. Play 10 courses in the area . By far the best conditions in the Tarpon springs area.

Definitely worth the hour’s drive we took to play here. The course was in good condition, except for a couple of tees. It is a challenging course that will punish the greedy golfer and reward the smart player. The broad variety of tees will satisfy every level of golfer. The greens are large with subtle borrows. The staff were very friendly and helpful with exception for the barmaid who obviously doesn’t like her job and needs to find a smile to deliver however she feels. I would like to play the course again when next in the area and would happily play it weekly

Great course to play! Pace of play was great today but typically a bit slow.

Pace of play was posted at pro shop to be 4 hours 10 minutes. However in reality it was 5 hours. Waited on every shot, no ranger to speed up play

My buddy and I played a mid-morning round on a Monday. First time either of us had played the course. We both enjoyed the layout, all the elevated green approaches, and the 6700+ yards from the blue tees. Indeed a Robert Trent Jones Sr design. The greens were in outstanding condition! Fairways were in really good condition. Tee boxes were average. Overall, a really nice course. We were a little scared heading into the round and reading previous reviews of “5 hour” rounds, and overcrowded tee boxes. However, we completed our round in exactly four hours and experienced very little wait time. Great value too as we booked a $50 special through Tee Off app. Look forward to my next round at Fox Hollow!

I enjoy playing Fox Hollow. It is a well designed and well respected course in this area. Teed off at 3 PM, and it took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to finish. The front nine was brutally slow. There were no rangers to handle pace of play, but there never are. It would’ve taken almost 5 hours but a group or two in front of us quit and went in early. The fairways were in good shape. The greens are very healthy, but they were very slow, especially for a Saturday. The rough is hit and miss as is typical for a course in this area that does not overseed the rough in the winter. The one thing that has been a knock against a Fox Hollow over the years has been the conditioning of the bunkers. They really are pretty bad. The staff is always great, and the range is above average. Range balls are very expensive for the number that you get, but the price of the round through Golfnow was more than fair.

got to hole 11 fairway in exactly 3 hours...went to next tee box ..par 3 12th ...2 foursomes on tee box .....needless to say didnt finish ..saw 1 ranger on hole 2 ,,,his comment ..take your time ...260 rounds today......instead of overbooking with 7 minute stagger...have rangers do their job and make sure pace of play is being enforced....greens were nice but slow ..because by booking 250 rounds daily ,,they have to protect the greens and not cut them as tight as expected

This was the first time I've played Fox Hollow in years. The course was in good shape; however, the greens were slow compared to a few other courses I've played recently.

We happened to follow a threesome and were followed by another threesome. After the 3rd hole, we had no one in front of us and no one behind us that we could see. It was like playing on a private course, Golf Nirvana!

I'll be back for another round.

Fox is usually great at keeping pace of play on track… but Wednesday 4/13 was most definitely the exception to the rule. We teed off at 10:37 behind a foursome who were a hole and a half behind the group in front of them by the 4th hole !!!!! The Ranger spoke to them around the 6th hole and told them to pick it up. WHICH WAS GREAT - and they did - for exactly one freaking hole… but then… we never saw the Ranger again…. 4 hours and 40 minutes later we finished the round. Rangers play a crucial role in the customer experience - PLEASE - for the love of god - PLAY THAT ROLE !

Up north… this would be $100 course. Well maintained and challenging. The starter Roger does a great job - and the Happy Hour can’t be beat. We play this course REGULARLY ! But please … only play on the weekends… My group are fast golfer … sub 4hr play… and we don’t play weekends — so if you do play weekdays - PLEASE KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU !

Fairways were in really good condition and all but 1 green was in good condition. Still one of my favorite layouts. Lots of water and the biggest gators around. Pace was a little slow. Moved well at times and got backed up on a few holes, but much better than the last time i played about 5 months ago

Greens are in great shape.... The Pro Shop staff kind of turned me off when I said I might not be able to share a cart because of time restrictions I might not be able to play more than 13-15 holes they wanted to charge me another TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS to take my own cart!

Listen.... I paid for a cart already... not my fault if you want to stuff a foursome out every 10 minutes or whatever time frame that makes the course take 5+ hours to play.

When we made the turn at 4pm there were TEN CARTS just sitting there....

We enjoyed our day at fox hollow. Course layout is good, greens had lots of grass but we're a little slow for our liking. One criticism would be the bunkers conditions were not upto the standards of the remainder of the course. With that said we enjoyed our day of golf and would most likely play again. We also enjoyed our time with Les and Rick the. Two players we were paired.
