Fox Hollow Golf Club

Very disappointed, for a place that charges premium rates it should be a premium course, and it was far from that. Many green and tee box issues, fairways choppy and had to roll the ball everywhere. Won’t visit or recommend unless I hear of big changes.

Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The course has an amazing layout with a ton of water that presents a lot of challenges. Tee boxes and fairways were very well kept. The only downside was the greens weren’t the purest, a little bumpy in some places. Overall I would play again.

I recently played a round at Fox Hollow, a course that was once known for its pristine conditions, smooth greens, and overall great value. Unfortunately, those days seem to be long gone.

The course conditions were fair at best, but given the price they’re charging, I’d classify them as poor. The bunkers, once a defining feature of the course, have been drastically reduced in size, and the grass surrounding them is in terrible shape. Instead of adding to the challenge and aesthetics of the layout, they now feel like neglected afterthoughts.

The greens were perhaps the biggest disappointment. Bumpy, spotty, and, in some cases, still showing major unhealed repairs, they made putting a frustrating experience. It’s clear that maintenance has taken a backseat, and for a course that once prided itself on its smooth, well-manicured greens, this is a huge letdown.

While the course has always been relatively flat, it used to be a hidden gem because of its playability and conditioning. Now, it just feels tired and overpriced. Unless significant improvements are made, it’s hard to justify the cost of a round here when there are better options elsewhere.

If management doesn’t step up and reinvest in the course, Fox Hollow will continue its downhill slide—an unfortunate fate for a place that once had so much potential.

Course is very nice. Recovering from some rough weather but layout is very good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It's worth a trip, not bad for the $$ Conditions were improving, greens definitely were showing the effects of the storm, but they will be back.

I have been coming here for ten years and the course is the most expensive it's ever been and in the worst shape it's ever been. This used to be my favorite in the area but has gone extremely downhill. Greens are bare and patchy and bumpy. Traps seem like they haven't been maintained in forever. Having to hit the ball off dirt instead of grass in so many places. Not to mention the seven and a half minute tee times is just outrageous and you're forced to play over a five hour round. Won't be coming back until they figure it out. Disappointed.

Easy check in, friendly staff, a great layout, fast and true greens. Play Fox Hollow!!

Good pace of play. Still a little overpriced. Nice layout.

One of the best layouts in the Tampa Bay area but greens were in rough shape and did not in any way justify the premium price. Additional the ranger was so rude and aggressive verbally that after more than a dozen times playing Fox Hollow, I will skip this course in the future.

This used to be a must stop for my group each year. What happened to Fox Hollow? Greens are patchy at best but puttable. The real problem is off the fairway with bunkers and around greens. Absolute garbage. Bunkers havent seen care and dirt to chip off of. Sad.

Always find a good round here. Wish it was more affordable. Pricing is getting ridiculous all over.
