About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Rojo Revue Zellwood
Interesting and nice course, a few very tough holes, fairways and greens in good shape. Some elevations and terrain changes for variety as well. Friendly staff too! Senior community with well kept up areas off the course and some green space bordering some fairways for a pleasant visual as you play. Just played 9 holes today!
Been a while.
Haven’t played here in a while, living in central FL. , there are numerous courses to choose from. This is a fun course that has a few blind shots and the trip around the crater could be a problem for those that play “army” golf, (left,right,left,right). The other two guys I played with were afraid of the 16th with the pond and decided to play it safe. And I chose to play it straight across and that made all the difference. Greens were in good shape, fairways were fine for the dry season. Snowbirds, this is not a course for you, leave it to the locals!

Great price, great golf..
Played the course yesterday and was surprised to see the large hills and trenches in Florida. Friendly staff, great food and beer specials. Will definitely be going back. Glad to see it pop up on Golf Now, otherwise I wouldn't have even known it was only 6 miles from my house.

Zellwood Station
The layout for this course is reason enough to give it a try. It's rare to have undulations in Florida and this course gives that to you. There are blind tee shots and greens you must hit up or down to. They mix up the course with short par 4's and a couple reachable par 5's among longer more challenging holes. Great for risk/reward scenarios. The staff is friendly and the community of golfers are fun to play with. The maintenance can vary depending on the time of year. Overall very worth the low prices. I would recommend this course as a single digit handicap player.

Zellwood round
We played on a cold, windy day, but there was nothing to complain about the course. Greens were smooth but not to fast. Good grass in the fairways. A tough course, but very fair. A great value.

Soggy
Course was soggy due to recent rains. Greens were "pudgy"

Terrible condition
I'm not sure who's writing the reviews saying that these greens are in decent condition, buthe reality is that the greens are in terrible condition as of November 2019
Seriously, don't waste your time going here..
it really is overpriced for the quality that you get.
Pro-shop barely looks at you, the starter should not be out there interacting with people, he has zero personality and zero customer service skills
We Would not go back...
I am surprised you got your comment posted. I've tried several times to comment and if it's negative , they filter it out. The course is nice... it haves 2 or 3 holes that are not very well designed. The jerk behind the check in desk needs to be replaced.

Elevations and well maintained
The pro shop check-in was friendly, but can't say the same about the starter.I'll just leave it at that. The course is very well maintained with crews working throughout the entire property. The only downside was the greens were slow.
There are some blind shots which is very different for local area golfers in Orlando. All fairways, tee boxes were in fine shape. Would play again and recommend play.

Good but slow
Nice course for a great rate. In good condition and plenty of hills that you dont tend to see in central florida. Staff are really nice. Only downside is the pace of play. Took 2 ball 4 hours to get round. The group in front of us was still on the tee box every time we got to it, waiting for the group in front of them to clear. Painful at times.

Not easy on a windy day…
Played as twosome and the pace was very slow. After the ninth hole we have asked in the Pro shop to play the first nine again. So we did and played it in about the half time as the first time! The course is somewhat challenging, especially with the wind we’ve had. Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are OK, some would need attention. Greens have mediocre speed and are well playable.
Overall it is an interesting track and worth about the rate you can get as a hot deal from Golfnow.com.

Fairways are in pretty good shape. Greens also in good condition..
fair golf course if you keep your ball in the fairway.. our threesome played in three hours and 40 minutes.

Played round in under three hours
Fairways are in very good condition. The roughwas light and manageable. Greens Rolled well and fair condition for this time of year.

Greens are awful
This golf course is a dump the greens are the worst thing I’ve ever pitted on. They could offer free golf and a free 6 pack with the round and i wouldn’t even consider coming back

place is a dump, ruined by the 250 year olds who run the place. Its like a hospice center...

Terrible staff
The guy in the pro shop closed at 11 after everyone went out so you could get anything at the turn and didnt tell us he was. Fun track with hills and in good shape.

Zellwood station generally always in good shape. Today was no exception.
Many elevation changes and some blind shots. Greens are tricky and at times a little fast.
