About
Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The heathlands layout feels like a links course with wind being an important factor and thick fescue coming into play. The golf course starts with an especially tough front nine but there are more scoring opportunities on the back. Mounded bunkers and moguls define the movement of the fairways and though there aren't many trees, if you don't keep your shots straight you might find yourself out-of-bounds or lost in the high, wiry grass. Sidehill lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Wyncote's greens have little undulation but the lightning fast putting surfaces are a challenge for players of all skill levels. With a few "grip it and rip it" holes mixed in, Wyncote Golf Club is a tough but fair test.

Great Links Course
Well manicured and very challenging course. Will definitely ply again and would recommended to skilled golfers who want a challenge in the philly area
Exceptional
The golf course was in great condition and enjoyable to play.
Awesome! Well maintained! Value!
The staff was friendly. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were great. Felt like I was playing on a PGA course. Weather was perfect after heavy storms. No water logging anywhere except a few bunkers which I was able to avoid.
Above all, water stations with chest full of cold water bottles and iced.
Great Experience
very good conditions, great tee boxes, quite challenging, beautiful views of rural PA. Price was a littles steep but I'll be back!
First time back in 20 years
Last time I was here, 9 and 18 were reversed. Trees and heather have grown up, greens are smallish and fantastic, fairways plush. Great time, 4:30 on Sunday morning
Beautiful day on the links
Wyncote has my stamp of approval. The course is always in amazing shape. The greens today were a little more furry than I’m used to at Wyncote. Helped the wind was a little to no concern. Overall 9.2
Perfect weather
Was gorgeous day no much wind but it did blow on a couple holes greens wee nice as well as the whole course . Was a great day overall
Always a pleasure
Nice layout, challenging but playable for all level players, fast greens that run true, all around great course. Every day is a good day when playing a round. Some days its how you play, others are who your with.
That being said I went solo and teamed up with a great guy, Jerry, on the front 9. Best wishes to him on his recent retirement and hope to see him again..
On the back 9 the foursome ahead was playing slow so ended up with another great guy, Clint, from Northern Virginia on vacation. I've been playing for 16 years, minus a 12 year break, and have always had a slice. Like others, I learned to play it. Clint graciously asked to give me an observation after 3 holes. The man was a miracle worker! On the remaining holes my shots were straighter and farther than I could've imagined. Didn't need to pay for lessons, just got lucky and picked a day to team up with a soft spoken guy who offered to help and made the game much more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you and best wishes on your recovery Clint.
