About
Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The heathlands layout feels like a links course with wind being an important factor and thick fescue coming into play. The golf course starts with an especially tough front nine but there are more scoring opportunities on the back. Mounded bunkers and moguls define the movement of the fairways and though there aren't many trees, if you don't keep your shots straight you might find yourself out-of-bounds or lost in the high, wiry grass. Sidehill lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Wyncote's greens have little undulation but the lightning fast putting surfaces are a challenge for players of all skill levels. With a few "grip it and rip it" holes mixed in, Wyncote Golf Club is a tough but fair test.

I booked my tee time through Golf Now and realized after the fact I had the incorrect date. I made the course aware of this and played on the date that I wanted and asked them if i could change the dates since i already paid Golf Now. They said go to the Golf Now website and it would be easy to cancel the reservation.
I have been on this site now and don't see any way of cancelling and now I'm sure i will be charged for 2 rounds of golf that i never played.
Course was great but Golf Now is terrible

Drive an hour to play here on a friends recommendation, boy it did not disappoint. Beautiful conditions and course, greens are fast and perfect! Great for all lvl of players, will DEF be back!
Beautiful course
I used all of my clubs. Played the blue tees. Drive the ball well to score. Greens rolled well, not fast; not slow.
Spectacular!
This course was in immaculate condition. The fairways were arguably the best I’ve ever seen and certainly the best public. Everything about this was top notch: staff, carts, greens, bunkers, etc. I will certainly be back and this is a 5 star gem!

First time in a long time
Played here on a Saturday afternoon in June. Had not been here in 15 years. It is as good as I remembered, which is very good. Course is beautiful, challenging (absolutely crushed me on the front) and I’m happy to say that the homes they have built do not intrude on play or the scenery. This course is also excellent value. Folks in the pro shop and the starter were just what you want, efficient, funny and enthusiastic for you to have a good round. I will be back soon.

Love it.
Great but Challenging
Great beautiful course, quite difficult and unforgiving. Conditions are always immaculate but it’s not a place for a beginner golfer.
Beautiful course
Course is maintained beautifully. Great lay out, not something you get to play everyday. Links style and has its challenges. Greens were quick, but rolled well. Would def play here more and is def worth 80$
