Wyncote Golf Club

I'm fairly certain I called ahead to ask if the greens had recently been aerated and was told they were aerated 4 months ago in December. Either I'm misremembering, or after 4 months the greens were still full of holes and the grass just hasn't grown back in yet. That was a letdown, especially for the price relative to other solid courses in the area. Played in brutal conditions - mid 40s and wind gusting 20mph. Definitely a course you'll score better the second time around on - little pockets and areas you wouldn't know about until you're standing in them. But clearly a good, challenging golf course meant to test you. Would love another crack at it when the greens are in better shape and the weather isn't so difficult.

Greens were recently punched but are still playable. They are almost healed up.. fairways and Boxes are in great shape.. always a fair and fun challenge. Wind was down which was a nice advantage... as wind at this course presents as quite the obstacle! Overall some of the best value around.

The greens have still not recovered from the extreme aeration done over the winter... other courses aerate but don’t have this problem... Not sure the reason Wyncote does this...

Greens were the worst I've seen at Wyncote. They haven't healed from aeration and the lines of sandy holes make putting a roll of the dice.

Not happy about paying $60.

Always a pleasure to play Wyncote. Course was in great shape, bunkers fairways and rough kept up well. Greens were punched about a month ago but playable.

We booked a last minute hot deal and we never played this course before, but we truly enjoyed it. The only down side was that we were a late tee time and the grill closed right before 5pm, so we were unable to grab a drink or bite to eat on the turn or after we were done.

Course was in great condition for the very beginning of the year. Greens were aerated end of December .. but plugs are filled with sand and greens still roll. I was told they will be rolling the greens again soon and this will help until greens are fully grown in. Course is awesome and less intimidating without all of the tall grass. Still a great challenge.

Greens were a bumpy ride due to recent aeration and they hadn’t rolled them. Normally GolfNow puts a red flag alert if aeration has been done but we received no alert. Basically kinda sucked not having that info.

Hard to believe, I was the only person on the course . A bit cold and always breezy, but a great experience. Other than the company, the pace of play was great. Bundle up and get swinging !
