The layout of this course is second to none in the GNO

But, even after being closed for a few months a couple of the greens are poop.

Greens are a huge disappointment. The money you pay you may as well do TPC. The greens have sandtraps practically. Staff was great. Facilities were great. Cart girl every two holes it seemed. Just the greens did not do this course design justice.

The course was just renovated. Greens immaculate and course is in great shape. Golf now hot deal is where it’s at. Pace was slow due to the recent reopening. Tough course with small greens but nice challenging lay out.

The course is very fun to play and is challenging with unique hole layouts, immaculate fairways, many bunkers/water hazards, and TINY greens. This would be a top three course (in NOLA) easy if the greens weren't the shag carpet someone reclaimed from a 1970's house fire, and if the MANY bunkers around the course played consistently. You either got perfectly manicured white clouds, or a hole someone stole the sod out of then dusted it with brown sugar and cinnamon. For the weekday rate of $50, I can't say I would see myself going back until the greens were remedied, cause ideally the bunkers are something to be avoided anyway, but putting through a forest of a green that's been littered with napalm strikes really kills the enjoyment of what could be a spectacular place to play. Apparently they will be putting a large investment into the greens soon though, so fingers crossed.

This used to be my favorite course to play....now it’s a shell of it’s former PGA tour stop condition. Greens and fairways are horrible.

Save your money and play elsewhere.

It’s the second time I’ve played at this course. The first time was good but this time it’s has gotten worst. The greens is worst then the local municipal course. The layout and fairways are good. The fairway bunkers need sand. It looks like hitting off of concrete , it needs sand to call it a fairway bunkers. The price is not worth it for the course. I was really disappointed when I saw the first green d it gotten worst afterwards.

The greens were in very bad shape. ball never reall got a true roll on the greens.

Course was not busy at 10 AM on a Thursday. Pace of play was fast. Greens were a little slow with some rough spots on a few greens. Good value on Golf Now

Never had a chance to play!! It was a total wash out day!! The folks were very nice and refunded our money thru golf now without any hassles! Thanks

I have one serious criticism of Golfnow, when you ate forced to cancel due to weather, it is way to hard to talk to a real person! It’s way to hard to find a phone number to call. Need to improve this.

Very disappointed with the condition of the greens and sand traps. I had high hopes for the course and was very let down

The course is beautiful, great layout , fun holes but the greens are in the worst shape I’ve ever seen. We were told that they are gonna shut down in June to redo most greens and they need to do that badly. Some greens were unplayable. Wait til next year to go play

I haven't played here in 30 years and I know I have changed, just hope not as much as this course has! It is in really poor shape. All traps are horrible and empty of sand and most greens are a disaster. This use to be the Crown Jewel in the big easy, not anymore. Rumor is that they plan to shut down and re-do the greens, it is needed!

Clean restrooms. Pro shop is nice, staff friendly. Course in good condition. Gorgeous scenery. Pace of play slow yesterday because of crowds. Good value for 18 holes.
