Golfers don't like to wait

We arrived early and headed to the starter. There was just myself and my husband who has played for over 30 years. He was super friendly and told us to start. We were not to my ball yet and a ball was hit into us. We asked the single to join us. He said that he was meeting up with someone so no. The next hole it happened again. We let him go through. Then 4 guys in 2 carts started to go ahead of us. I noticed that they didn't have golf bags. They heard me and stopped to tell us that they were looking at the course. They ended up going ahead of the single, onto the green where 2 others were putting. We had to wait for them to inspect. This continues until around the 5th hole. In the meantime, the single picked up a player. So needless to say the front was slow. Also, the Bathroom on the front 9 was out of order! We make the turn and saw that the now 2 ahead of us only played 9. We were glad to get a rhythm going as we did too much waiting on the front. On the 11th hole, we came upon a walker and rider who were not only looking for balls but were playing 2 balls. I stood on the tee box hoping they would see us. They did turn around and picked up their pace. We were saddened that the overall play and pace of the game was poor.

Great Course and Value

I really enjoy this place. The staff is friendly, the course is challenging but fair, and they seem to keep it as nice as possible. The greens are well maintained and roll well.

4 some in front of us was a little slow, that was not the problem. I spoke to 2 guys behind us and they had an issue that we were looking for balls. I went and explained to them we were waiting on foursome in front of us and they had a problem with that. over all great course and had fun.
