Old South Golf Links

Liked layout and friendly staff but course shape was not good. Rates have increased too early for the condition of the course. Greens rolled slow and fairways were hard with bare patches and grass has not matured as yet. Tough winter likely attributed to shape.

Old South is a fairly forgiving layout (except for 7 &16) and generally in pretty good shape although some of the tees were a bit tough. Pace of play was fine, all told a good afternoon.

First time playing this course and exceeded our expectations. Staff was super friendly and the course was in great shape. Can’t wait to go back.

We told the starter that we were worried about holding people up but actually we had to wait behind four groups stacked up in front of us and it took two and a half hours to play nine. The group behind us actually quit. There probably should have been a pacer to keep things moving. This was our only complaint. Nice course.

Just a beautiful golf course, with fantastic views, difficult greens & good times!

This was the 5th course I played while on vacation, and least favorite. Played 9 holes as a foursome so we were sent off the back 9. Played behind a threesome and our round was 2 hrs and 30 mins. Waited every hole. The course layout is meh. If you're serious about golf, don't play here, there are better options on the island.

Not a tough course but it keeps your interest. The short par 4's, 6 and 16 are fun and thought provoking. The greens were good but a bit slower than anticipated. Pace of play was good and all in all a good day. We have already booked another round at Old South.

Have played here several times. Always enjoy tge round and the course is always in great shape.

Just over the bridge from Hilton Head in Bluffton. Challenging & fun course to play for reasonable rates. Super friendly & hospitable staff. If your visiting, strongly recommend coming off the island to play Old South Links.

I thought (and did) click on tee times for the next day. However within a half hour of making this tee time, I noticed it was listed for the current day and immediately tried to navigate your contact system. I was able to do so and was informed the tee time would be canceled. Today I was charged $114.00. Why?

Your reservation system has done this to me in the past. You enter a date in advance and it automatically kicks back to the current day when you change researching availability at another venue.

This course has a playable layout with 4 - 5 very challenging holes over marshland hazards. The staff are all friendly, professional, & very helpful. Great place!
