Silverbell Municipal Golf Course

I was charged an additional $50 for booking through the app. They do no honor the payment made on the app and will refuse a refund. The employee grabbed my child by the back of his neck when he was looking at the putter ( he is 15) and told him "children aren't allowed to touch clubs and I'll kick you and your family out right now if you ever step foot in my lobby again"

I then had to call the police in order to file an assault charge and the employee had no discipline for his actions.

Everything combined to make a great day of golf.

Weather was perfect and and the 2 singles we were paired with were great to play with.

Greens and fairways in excellent condition.

Teed off 5 minutes early and completed round in

4hrs 15 minutes.

With that said, don't play here. More people will ruin a perfect day. :-)

Silver bell is on our regular rotation of courses and has been for several years. The staff is always friendly.

Our group has never had anything to complain about until yesterday. On the back nine I was walking to the outdoor restroom and a couple of guys stopped me and said “you don’t want to go in there, it’s disgusting “. I took their their advice and waited. Later a member of our group said he had gone in and it was very dirty. Many people rely on that restroom as we try to drink plenty of water while golfing.

The main restroom near the pro shop was clean as usual but having to wait that long, especially on a crowded day

Course is playable but fathered was n unpleasant sewage smell at various locations.

On the plus side, fairways, greens & pace of play, friendly staff was acceptable. On the minus side cart paths extremely rutted, lack of directions/marking to next Teeing ground lacking (got lost twice), course allowed 5 players in group & bunkers had standing water & not maintained by golfers.

took 5 hours to play.3rd time played, always slow.

There are better golf courses out there but overall it was a good time, I would play there again, the course has a decent layout and the staff were nice, couple of whiffs of bad odors on the last couple holes from the water treatment plant up the road and pace of play was fairly slow, but an hour and a half frost delay certainly didn't help matters. Overall though a pleasant experience.

Absolutely horrid pace of play! Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. No marshal in sight. Greens were brown and there was mud all around. Fairways were the only thing that saved this course. It was not worth the greens fees. Unable to finish my round after teeing off at 1340 hrs with sunset at 1800 hrs. Unacceptable.
