Oak Valley Golf Club

That course was in nice condition. Fairly challenging and fairly high rough. Staying in the fairway was key to scoring there. Fairly deep rough to hit out of.

It's been a while since I have seen the course in this great of shape. The rains really made the course beautiful and playable. The greens rolled true and looked really good. Will definitely continue to play here if it stays in this shape.

Always loved this course and especially the greens. Hands down the best greens for a public course the fairways are slowly getting more green and full and the rough is rough. Always recommend this course to everyone.

Really nice course, good layout, and excellent fast greens. Can’t wait to play it again.

About as good as you will get for a public course in the Inland Empire....once a jewel now somewhat less spectacular....lack of fairway over seed the last few years has left fairways with more bare spots then years past...greens still very nice some even have nice aprons around them...hope they are using some chemicals on the Bermuda Grass fairways so they will fill in and green up in the next couple months....

Tried this based on other reviews (really???!!!) and what a disappointment. There is no grass on most fairways, no marshal lead to a 5 hour round. Poor support (both water tanks empty, when I reported it after 9 found 3 guys sitting in the pro shop doing nothing!!) Had to laugh at the 90 degree rule for carts, to protect the weeds??? OK lay out with potential but someone has to bring some management and money to this or it will likely die. Played Terra Largo next day, 10 times better course and less money!!

Friendly staff, great layout, fast & smooth greens, fairways typical and playable. They will only get better I think. Wind made it really challenging but really fair.

Can be a tough course. Some undulating fairways that can be a challenge. Played here for many years and the course is always well maintained. Can be windy and cold, but like the terminator....”I’ll be back”

Course is not in great shape except greens are great. Pace of slow terrible and the pro shop staff just shrug and say their marshall has gone home (1pm!) Nothing to drink, restaurant/bar closed. Not returning in a hurry

This course has so much potential. The layout is wonderful, greens were excellent and every hole is surrounded by beautiful scenery. My only negative comment would be the condition of the fairways. Being from Canada I don't understand how water rights work in drought stricken California but I can see this course isn't getting its fair share (by choice or not I have no idea). If they watered and cut more this would be a stellar course. I hope they work on it. It's still worth your time and money in spite of the fairways. I will try it again next visit.

I have played Oak Valley every year for the last 4 years and have enjoyed it each year. The range is well laid out and allows for a good warmup.I really enjoyed the greens.

This course could be a real gem. The layout is very interesting and scenic but the fairways and rough were in horrible shape. Greens were good but unmowed grass everywhere and holes and missing grass all over fairways.the course needs much more attention by greenskeepers. If some more money was spent on conditions it could be one of the best courses in the valley.

Incredible value at less than $50 during the weekday. I love the greens here as they’re always kept in meticulous shape and the speed is blazing quick.

Looked forward to playing Oak Valley as friends had spoken highly of it in the past. I guess watering restrictions and a lack of traffic has taken their toll on the financial viability of the club. The course was in terrible condition. Fairways grass was spotty at best. Really a shame as the layout was quite good. Seems like a real waste of a good track. Pace of play was good as no one was on the course.

Always enjoy this course. Staff are very friendly and the course has many different holes. Makes one think about every shot. Danger is there but so are rewards. Will be back many times.

Cold, cold day. Asian groups ahead joined up, played as a 7 ball! Could have used a marshall! They destroyed the bunkers, left divots and pitch mark's, etc. We had to drive on by, and skip a hole. Zero course ethics! We loved the course, and staff but with this kind of clientele, we'll play elsewhere in future.
