Oak Valley Golf Club

The course was not in good condition. The greens were extremely hard and fast, rather like putting on concrete.
We did not enjoy our round at this course this time. Winter may be part of the problem but that is only one issue with this course.

This is my favorite course and a must play if you love golf. Yesterday was uncommonly cold and play was difficult. Maybe that lent to the abnormally slow play. I don't mind the lack of grass in the fairway but the greens are so hard and fast that it is close to unplayable. Water and warmth would help.

Lack of rain notwithstanding this course needs a slight face lift. I wish they would put some money into upkeep as It is too good a design to let it go like they have.

I love/hate this course. That's a good thing. It's as tough a course you can play. On this day, in the middle of winter, the greens were insanely fast.

Requires a lot of local knowledge to know when to go at a flag on approach or when not to.

Some lovely holes, lots of elevation changes. The rough is inconsistent and a bit spotty, but this is Winter, coming off a rough summer.

Excellent value.

Everything about Oak Valley is very, very good. A warm welcome and great conditions, excellent greens. Course a bit stressed at the edge but not surprising considering the drought. Treat yourself !!!!

Does anyone else think its odd that the most beautiful courses take less care of their back 9 than the front 9. Ok rant over....if you hitbthe ball straight your in a good place. If you go side to side or have a bad hook or slice, its going to be rough. Lots of sand, beautiful sand, deep sand. Awesome course, the hazards are in all the right places. Fun par 3's. Overall challenging course too bad it's basically winter and the grass isn't at its best.

First time playing Oak Valley, 3 of were playing, everyone enjoyed the course. It was shortly after overseeding, but the course played very well anyway. Would love to play this course when in good shape. Not many houses on the fairways, nice track.
Priced very good for this type of course.

This course is always in above average condition, and is one of the most challenging courses within 50 miles of it's Beaumont location. However, it is not without it's issues. First, the tee boxes have been getting shaggy and a bit more uneven over the past year. Second, nobody seems to fix their ball marks on this course! I could have spent an hour on every green fixing the DOZENS of ball marks I saw. Third, this course should have cart GPS - like almost every other course in the area. Given that the condition of this course is not getting better, and they don't have GPS, they might want to consider lowering their prices. Finally, I tried to play this course as a single at 2:50 p.m. last Sunday (11/8). I was told that "we don't tee anyone off after 2:15 on Sundays"... What? They didn't want my money? I went across the freeway to Morongo and was able to get 18 holes in on the Legends course. I teed off at 3:10 p.m. and finished as it was getting dark at 5:15 p.m.

The course does present a challenge, however, it's in very poor condition. The greens are fine and fast but everything else isn't.

First time playing here - the course was in great shape and the weather while warm was nice. Slight breeze in the morning helped with the heat. There ws a tournament in front of us so the pace was slow but I will go back and play there once it cools down outside.

Pretty tee views. Challenging enough for all players.

A Must Play!

I thought this course would be immaculate after reading the reviews. At least the greens were perfect. Overheard some weird/rude comments from the cart boys. The cart was terrible, almost rolled down the hills a few times. Other than that, the fairways were a little thin and the rough was a little dry, but still decent. Just disappointed I thought it would be nicer than the Morongo courses and it is not.

Played by myself, had course to myself, only had 1 foursome to pass on the back 9. Course was in great shape, especially the fairways which on some other local courses aren't very good.

Course is always in great condition,greens are always rolling great and true.staff is friendly and ready to get your bags and to drop you off at your car.Not my first or my last time playing here.

I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to friends.

started with a very nice deal from golfnow for the weekend price. Pace of play was excellent under 4hrs on saturday afternoon. Fairways and greens are in a great shape. Course has little bit of everything.(water, blind shots, different terrains, bunkerss, tough par3s). Fun and challenging course for everyone. Very nice practice facility available but don't know the price for that.. driving range uses grass.. has water on every 3holes.

I always have a great time playing here best to stay in the fairways cause sometimes the sick is no Bueno.
