Rated worse course in 2017
I play a lot of courses across North America, hence my title. What a cow pasture. A complete waste of a Christmas gift. Cart # 34 could barely get around the course.
Condition
I thought the fairways were terrible, since too many dirt areas. The greens were ok, but needs work. Staff were very social and friendly.
Good Course
I always enjoy this course. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
Over seeding
The fairways are ok. We played from lady tees due to over seeding. I really like the lay out The course and the greens are in good shape
Chula Vista golf course
the course is long and flat. Its easy to get around. the staff are all very friendly eager to help out. the area around the course is very park like.
I was told they improved it...they lied!
We had not played this course for nearly a year because of the poor conditions, you know.. dry spots, tee boxes under repair (shortening the holes like number 3), etc..we went back for we were told by the staff that it was much improved... lies and more lies! it is worse than a year ago.. not going back ever, unless they really do something about it... For that price i can play in better courses, easily..
Chula Vista Golf Course
Course was in decent shape right after aerification, Most Greens were in Good Condtion. A lot of gnats on the Back Nine but that has nothing to do with anything just saying.
Good Course
A little slow but this was Sunday. I like this course and the employees are always friendly. Water travels on the course so you won't go dry.
Condition
Greens need some work. The fair ways have a lot of dirt areas and need water badly. Thumbs up on the fringe and bunkers

Nice long course for a change
First course I've played with some length besides Miramar in awhile. Par 73 sometimes. I (usually) get off the tee well and can wedge in from 160, so a lot of courses I won't get to my long irons. I used my 3 and 5 a lot which was a nice change, and I didn't even play the tips (like I said, usually get off the tee well). Caught a hot deal for 12$, so I guess i can't somplain, but the greens are a sandy mess right now. Most greens are whites from all the sand. Meh, 12$....still fun.
Nice course. Great staff.
Highly recommend this course, whenever I am in town I play here. Great rates on golf now.
Enjoyed it
Great course for the average golfer. Not too many hazards, pretty open with nice greens. Plan on going again.
Good Course
Good course. A few rough areas but they are working on them. I always have an enjoyable time at this course and the employees are always nice and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I had not played this course for over 25 years and know I realize I really missed out. No stuffed shirts, just a bunch of people having a good time on a golf course. Don't forget to bring some bread for the turtles and fish on #10.
Great Time !
I had a great time with family and friends we teed off on time and the service was great. Water was offered while we were playing golf ,we had an excellent time.I highly recommend you, to at least try this course.

Chula Vista Experience
I like Chula Vista GC. Look on golf now and get a discount. Keep the ball in the fairway and the grass is fine. Greens are smooth and roll at a good speed. Office personnel is excellent. Overall good experience
