There are some pretty rough/choppy spots on the fairways, but the greens are in perfect condition!

Course layout slightly above average but overall course condition below par. Price was a bit much for what you got.

COURSE WAS IN SO-SO CONDITION. CONSIDERING THE DROUGHT - NOT TOO BAD. FIRST TIME ON COURSE, SO GOOD TO HAVE A PLAYER THAT HAS SEEN THE COURSE FOR SOME DIRECTION. GREENS ROUGH - NEEDED MOWING. OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

No problem with the staff which are friendly and helpful but the fairways are rough! Many are under repair with huge parts roped off and being work on. There was also frequent hard, thin grass/dirt in fairways. I even chipped of hardpan close to the green : ( Basically you get what you pay for but there are other courses playing nicer for the money right now. Bottom line its not worth driving very far for...at least at this time.

Our round was great but they were doing a lot of maintaince on the fairways which is good!

I paid $30.00 for 18 hole with cart. I feel like it's not worth it, because each hole you'll see maintenance tape on fairway. No water inside the ball cleaner and bathrooms are discusting. Never play here again. Go to bonita course better it's only less than 5 mins away.

This is a great course to play. Trouble to the right on most forces you to make good shots.

First let me say the staff was extremely friendly. Went out their way to pair me up with locals who know the course. My issue was the fairways. Many very large areas of complete hardpan in the fairways. Not brown grass, no grass. Locals said move the ball to grass. Greens were great! I would play the course again after they can help out these areas.

CV is in terrible shape. The worst I have ever seen it. It is riddled by bare spots, or should I say sections? Either way the bare areas are large and numerous. The fairways are awful and very hard, too hard to hold grass even. The price is enticing, but if you try it you'll wish you hadn't.

Not a great course, but not terrible either. Most holes offer wide fairways, giving you good scoring opportunities. Battling the wind is the biggest challenge at this course as most holes play into the wind. Pace of play can be a bit faster, but overall it's a decent course for all skill level golfers.

Overall, the course is fine. I hope that the grass will grow in around the greens as well as the fairway. The greens were perfect. Just more green grass would be perfect.

The fairways where good,the pace of the round was consistent. The greens where easy to put on.

fairways are a little rough. But our group is allowed to bump the ball a few inches so that's not a problem.for a first timer it can be difficult to find the next hole.better signage between holls would help. Overall we like the course

I will never play this course again. I've never seen so many dirt spots on fairways in my life. If you don't care about your lies then play it. Greens are in good condition and the food was good at the turn. Pace of play is t terrible. My round took 5 hrs and 15 mins. Too slow for me.

Great to be on the green side of the grass...early tee time was great...pace of play was good. A nice value...will play again soon....

Course overall is in fairly good shape, fairways could use some work but the greens were relatively nice. I have played this course a handful of times, it is a fun course but the pace of play is always slow. Prepare for a 5+ hour round.

The good:
Greens were well maintained and rolled smoothly.
Sandtraps had good sand and were easy to play out of.

The bad:
The fairways were pretty horrific.There were huge patches with no grass.
The rough was also burnt out. It was like playing off dirt.
The pace of play was horrendous on the front 9, but it seemed like people quit at a certain point and the back 9 moved quicker.
There was an extreme lack of visible yardage markers.

Conclusion:
I'm not really sure how Yelp and Golfnow had decent ratings for this place unless it just fell into disrepair recently. If I'm going to play in the suburbs of San Diego I'd much rather go to the Vineyard in Escondido for the same price.
