PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course

Beautiful scenery, friendly staff, but playing in the middle of the summer you have to expect summer conditions. That being said, grass on the fairways and greens was not nearly as nice as some of the other courses I've played this week, but overall, the course is definitely worth playing, especially on a hot deal.

My tee time was at 10:30am. No one on the course because it was so hot. 105F. Course was in decent shape but not as lush and green as some other courses. Staff was friendly. Would play again if temps are a little cooler.

Staff was friendly, polite, course is incredible. Greens are difficult, but makes the course unique.

I was intimidated when I read all the reviews about the firmness of the greens and the difficulty of the layout so the first couple holes were a little shaky but after some adjustments and proper strategy.... It was on and cracking!!! The conditions were excellent, The fairways were pure, the greens were fast but awesome. They came around numerous times to offer us more bottled water and wet towels!!! We were made to feel special which just added to the entire experience. We had a blast!! I cannot wait to play here and all the other PGA West Courses!!! Top level service!!!

Course was in great summer shape after aeration.

Teeoff needs to lower prices in the summer

Here for a week and I have a good review for the dunes course overall good layout , nice fairways and bunkers, greens are still growing in but they are worth the play in mid July,. It was my pleasure to play I recommend and a special thank you and appreciation to John the afternoon cart and club employee,

First off...obviously it was hot. Bring water...and towels to keep wet and cool off often. Starter warned us that this would be a tough course...and he was right. Greens were almost clown golf with all the undulations. Had a grest time before during and after.

Greens were well maintained for hot summer weather (105 degrees). Staff were phenomenal on rounding and making sure that their guests are well hydrated with bottled water.

While not a long course it is one of the best tests of golf in the Coachella valley

If your in La Quinta, this is a fun course to play. Pete Dye, PGA West course. Greens are very tough. Fairways are wide. Beautiful views. Staff was polite and professional. Very nice experience.

Very approachable course . Great views and clubhouse. Friendly staff and course in great shape.

Bro tournament during round not the best or the worst. Typical booze more important than the game.
