Desert Falls Country Club

The course was in relatively good shape. We played after a long weekend and the grass was clearly not cut for several days. Not really an issue on fairways and rough but the greens were bumpy and extremely slow. The greens are large with some challenging slope to them and I look forward to giving it another try with cut and rolled greens.

Other than the two fellows in the pro shop who took our money and the very friendly and informative starter, we essentially saw no one. There was a foursome ahead of us, my buddy and I and that’s it. We never saw anyone behind us, the snack shack was closed so we couldn’t get anything after nine and there was no cart person for on course service. It would have been nice to get a snack or beer but there was nothing. We finished our round and no one was there so we left the cart, took our clubs and walked to our vehicle. The course was great but there’s plenty of room for off course service.

So much so we gave up at hole #10! It was not the 2-some in front of us, but a group before them with 4 carts - constantly ‘gathering’! I was surprised there was not a Marshall monitoring play. There are far better courses for the $ in this area.

This golf course was really fun to play. The staff was very friendly and very nice. I would definitely go back and play this course again. The greens were hard to read. A couple of them were super fast and then the back 9 was super slow. It was a lot of fun to play.

Enjoyed the elevation changes. A few blind shots, so consult the course playbook. Greens were hard, sand traps good, great conditions all around. Great for all handicaps. Lock and load, landing areas generous and but get tight as you approach the greens. Pace was just over 4 hours. Great day!

Strange course, wonky layout, weird greens, it felt very gimmicky throughout. Decent shape but not close to worth $170 (Saturday AM) — which didn’t even come with range balls.

Liked this course. Course was in great shape, but Greens were deceptively slow. Lots of water and some longer carries for shorter hitting golfers. Fun layout where you did need to hit targets. Bunkers were tough. Felt like pot bunkers if you were against a 2 foot high wall next to the green. Pace was slow...5 hour round. Today was unusually windy for the desert in April.

Played this in 4 hours, and enjoyed every minute of it. Great views and challenging course.

This course is beautiful and such a BEAST all at the same time. This layout will challenge you in all areas of your game but still make you feel lucky to play such a stunning layout. Ton of water with lots of holes where course management is required. Don't let your ego get you in trouble so play the correct tees per your skill level because it definitely plays long!! The rough is deep but nothing too crazy. The fairways were nice and the greens looked awesome and rolled slow even though they were firm. Its a fun course and I would recommend this course and play here again!

Solid well-maintained course with fun holes. If you can stripe it 300 every time this course will not challenge you as much, ut I found it interesting enough from the blue tees. I teed off early as a single so I can’t comment on pace of play. Value for money is comparatively good for the desert.

Interesting layout, lots of water but what really makes it tough is oddly shaped, slow ,elevated greens and the second cut just off fairway is so high you can lose your ball it.

the course is a good challenge... greens need some work, since I last played 2019.
