Ranch Course at Genoa Lakes Golf Club

It is sad that such a nice course has gone to crap.

People working there are very friendly.

Tee boxes and fairways mostly dead grass, huge patches of clover in decent fairways, most bunkers were like cement and littered with rocks.

Very poor conditions. Dry hardly any grass in fairways or tee boxes.

Course was torn to pieces and burned out all over the place. Fairways were full of weeds and bunkers were ponds. Tried to charge us for water cups…?

Views are awesome and layout is nice but they have let the course absolutely fall apart and still try to charge a premium.

Exceptional staff; upbeat, friendly & accommodating!! Course is not in the best shape (sand traps are trashed & fairways really hurting) but greens are fine. Played in 3 hours and overall a fun day!

By the summer the course should be in much better shape. The layout is interesting and can be difficult from the back tee. Half of the course is on flat land and the other one is the mountain side. Again, it should get better in the summer.

We played this course before and it was pristine this time definitely disappointed tee boxes were dirt, sand traps rocks, fairways were dry and bumpy.!

The course layout is nice overall. However, several greens are look dead, brown & dried out. Most greens & fairways are in dire need of water. Not a good value in its present condition

Played this course many times in the past and always found it a tight challenging fun course. But it is all but dead now. All the greens are in poor shape. They are over half dead brown grass and rock hard. So had you don't want to land your approach shot on them because it Wii only bounce off. The fairways are even worst over half dead brown grass. It's not worth the time to play, much less pay the high fees to play. Washoe county public course is in better shape. Save your money and play there's.

Played 3 courses, The Ranch course in the worst condition in several years.

I had high hopes for this golf course. I have played other Johnny Miller courses in the past and they were great fun. This one was not the case.The curse is in bad shape except for the greens. The greens are good, but rolling slow. The front nine is covered with dandelions and hardly any grass The back nine is better, but not good. All of the traps need sand or the standing water pumped out. The front nine is flat and the back nine goes up the side of the foothill. The staff was very friendly. It is too bad because this course has so much potential.

So number one at this s place was the absolutely fantastic staff. They were super friendly and helpful! Practice facilities we're great with plenty of room and an excellent layout. Course was in great shape with very few issues and spectacular views. I will definitely be back!

The Green here we're terrible. Very slow and uneven. Not playable for your more accomplished golfer or even weekend golfer for that matter. Pace of play was really backed up I had to call it quites after 14 holes. Bunkers were in bad shape and guy In the pro shop also made me pay $5 extra for range balls Since I booked a hot deal time. What kinda rule is that. Heard the cart guy tell another group where the range was and said range is free with your tee time. Overall poor poor conditions but staff and range is nice. Play else where if your looking for better course conditions.
