About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Love the course. Got it for 40 a head which isn’t bad. The pace of play was horrible too many people teeing of too close together
Beautiful day at Lakeridge
Perfect early spring day on the course. Staff was friendly and efficient...kept things moving...difficult to improve much beyond score...

Well laid golf with moderate to long par 4s. Greens are great, but very fast.

Lake ridge golf course
Played Lake Ridge in Reno tues 03/02/21 and playing today. Would like to transfer credit for thursday to play in Minnesota when the courses open up their. Thank You please let me know if I can use credit in Minnesota.
Junuary
Perfect day in January. Wish they didn’t allow walkers early in the morning. So we had to skip a hole. But I will definitely play more
The greens were in awful shape---full of divots and clumps of turf. The starter at number 10 (had to start on the back nine) was very unfriendly and acted like he could have cared less if we were there or not. Sure made it a point to tell us to have the carts in by 4:45. Only got to play 11 holes. This is a course that is not worth the money; seems they feel like they can charge more than the surrounding courses due to their location. I do not plan to play this course anymore as it is worse than Wolf Run, Toiyabe, and Red Hawk. Definitely not worth ANY price that they charge.
