Stoney Point
It’s a bit of a drive from Asheville, but I had never played the course so wanted to try it. Course was in great condition. Well laid out. Greens are firm and wicked fast. I will be back.
An Upstate gem...
I had not played Stoney Point before but was eager to play. I happened to play on a rainy and rather chilly day but the course was in excellent condition. I would say the greens are the most treacherous of any course in the upstate that is public. I can’t imagine what they are like in the summer! All in all, this is a great venue.
Blustery weather
Course was in amazing shape even though the it was windy and cold and rained the night before

This is a beautiful golf course that is always in great shape. It is always a fun day when I play this course. The pace of play is good. I would play here all the time if I lived closer to the course.
Great Course
Playable course, greens in great shape, roll true and fast. Plenty of sand in bunkers, level tee boxes. This was the fourth time playing this course, definitely helps to know it, many approach and tee shots will land on small slopes that kick the ball a certain direction. Overall fantastic conditions, fair. Placement rather than distance helps, beautiful views of lake as well

Love this course, the manicured fairways make for great approach shots to medium soft greens allowing for the average golfer to land safely on the putting surface
Great Course
I have enjoyed playing this course for the last year and a half. Regardless of time of year it is always in good condition. Nice challenging golf course and if you get a booking deal it's a real steal. I travel 50 minutes to play this course because it so nice. Bring some extra balls if your not always straight because OB eats balls and you'll be hard pressed to find yours. So hit em straight and enjoy you round.

Stoney is always a challenge and lots of fun. The course is always in great shape.
