About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Greens, tee boxes, fairways all in great shape, only complaint is the restaurant is closed on Sundays & Mondays
Overall awesome course
This was one of the best courses I have ever seen for a par 66! Had some challenging holes and the pace of play was great,we never had to wait. And get this only 25 bucks!!!! I highly recommend this course.

Love Sunbird
Staff is always friendly, the restaurant is inexpensive and delicious, with large portions. I knocked a star off for condition, because Sunbird is generally in phenomenal shape, but this year has some dead areas and patchy fairways. Then again, all courses have struggled this year due to shortages and increased expenses. However, it should be noted that the greens are still in great shape! Generally pace of play is fine here, but this particular round was very slow. Not really anything to do with Sunbird, rather just an inconsiderate and slow group ahead of us. They did not keep up pace, and never paused to offer for us to play through. This is rarely an issue at Sunbird, so I can't complain too much. Overall, you simply cannot beat Sunbird, especially for $25! And after your round, be sure to head up to the restaurant for lunch!

Great course , friendly people & an amazing price
This course is really fun to play but still challenges you in many ways. A tough par 5 with water on the front 9 & the 18th hole par 4 covered in bunkers will test your game nicely !

Course is in transition so fairways and tee boxes will improve as time goes by. Greens, however, are very good. Christiana in the Pro Shop is great, very friendly, efficient, and helpful. Always enjoy playing Sun Bird.
Nice Course
I can't say enough about Laurie and her staff. Friendly, professional and courteous. Even the landscapers stop working when you are near them. That's usually reserved for high end coutses. and certainly not seen at any other courses in the East Valley. Course is in transition now but still very playable
