About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Pace very slow. Group in front of us 1.5 holes behind. This course should not take 4 1/4 hours to play; even on a weekend
Pretty good shape although greens patchy.

Divots galore
On major complaint I have is the amount of un repaired ball marks , that I fix ever time I play this coarse !
I’ll bet a fix at least 6 or more per green , time bearing of next group .
What’s so hard about fixing your ball mark or two .
This will increase play and promote great conditions .
Be mindful
I enjoy playing here , but I wish more people would fix their ball marks on the greens …. I must repair about 6 or more marks on a majority of the greens when I have time to during play !

Poor Attitude of employees
There were 3 of us at a faster pace than the published time. Marshall came not to tell us to speed up but to lecture us 2x. Just because the people in front of us played faster doesn't mean we were slow. Ruined the round. I've played a number of times here before and this has never happened. Really disappointed. Also someone on the course that identified himself as the owner - was just as bad.
Horrible Pace of Play
I’ve golfed Springfield a lot the last couple of years. However, within the last several months they have been really bad with either over booking or not having tee times spread far enough apart. The last two times I’ve played there it has taken over 4 hours to finish 18. Pace for 18 is supposed to be 3 1/2 or less. Sitting at a tee box waiting on 2 groups to tee off is unacceptable. The Marshall needs to be more aware and keep the pace up. This last weekend a group of 3 clogged everything up and a group of 2 behind them didn’t help with one giving “golf lessons” and dropping multiple times on each hole. I used to really like this course but the slow play is getting really bad. I don’t care if you suck at golf, but play bad fast!
Easy and Comfortable!
We loved playing on this shorter course! Great for a afternoon of socializing but also challenging enough for the guys! And I won a sleeve of balls for hitting the green!
It took nearly 3 hours to play 9 holes, waiting ~10 mins at each hole to tee. Marshall was nowhere to be found until he wanted to usher us off the course at 530 with plenty of sun left. Pace was extremely slow and made for poor experience.
