About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Nice Executive
Course was in outstanding condition tee to green. Staff is always very friendly and professional. Restaurant staff and woman in the refreshments cart are fantastic. Pace of play a little slow, probably shouldn't take four hours on a par 61 course. But, it is a retirement community. One suggestion might be to have a bucket of water at the #1 & #10 tee boxes. Otherwise a nice course.
Need Marshalls
Had several slow groups in front of our foursome and the first nine holes took 2:25 hours to complete. Unacceptable for an executive course. They all left after 9; we had nody in front of us and finished the back nine in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Nice course
Very slow pace of play on the front 9. Faster play on the back 9 as players dropped off after the front 9. Course conditions were excellent! First time golfing this course and even with the slow play, will come back to golf this course.
Great variety of holes
Pleasantly surprised at the course design and challenging greens (ran true, fast, and some tournament-level pin placements.
Good short course
Great for practice or quick short round. Bunkers were very wet. Some with deep puddles.

I am actually Impressed with the upkeeping of the course. Management has done.a great job!!! Value for money.

Pro shop staff was professional and friendly

although it was busy, players were started at a good pace so as not to cause a delay on any hole

Good place to get the rust off
I have played Springfield several times and it’s a good place to work on the game. You’ll potentially hit every club in the bag depending on how aggressive you want to be. Can be slow moving when one group holds up the show. Staff is great. Good practice range.
Nice course-except for the cart girl
Cart girl was a little surly and spent her time playing candy crush on her phone instead of trying to srll
