About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Wait
I am not sure if the standard pace is to have 3 groups waiting for each t? But very frustrating.
Very long grass hard to see the ball as it gets buried in the grass off the fairway. Friendly staff. Didn’t try the amenities as we had reservations elsewhere.
The couple we golfed with are expert golfers and from Scottsdale and never have a wait like we experienced yesterday.
First time Fun.
We had a great afternoon but failed to par the course!! We were matched up to play with Karen. She apparently plays the course a lot but that made our experience even better. She helped us maneuver the course and made us feel at home. We definitely will plan to return to golf another time. Thanks
Great day for a hike in one!
Tee boxes, fairways and greens in excellent shape after the over seeding.. Considering I had my first ever hoke in one on the 6th hole the day was fabulous Course conditions are as good as they ever have been.
Second time playing this course and it was great. This time we started before 7AM and the pace was perfect. If you book after 7AM, heads up it gets busy! Which means more time to chat with your party or learn from the groups around you.
Cart path only
Course was in great shape. Cart path only is understandable if you stay straight on the fairways. But with all the none overseed areas, brown grass they still want you to keep all four wheels on cart path ? Overall course was in good shape. Could. Walk the course as pace of play was slow and might as well since course is cart path only at this time.

Great Short Course
Springfield Golf course is an excellent course for iron improvement. The course is just now getting in good shape for fall. The greens are filling in nicely but need a little more time for that perfect roll. It is a moderate course but does have some challenging holes. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and is one reason I keep coming back. I live here too and that helps. There are many older golfers that come here which can impact the pace of play at times but the course is so much fun it usually doesn't matter that much. Bring your game face and enjoy.

Fun Course
Only played front nine and had a good time. It’s not a long course, manageable for old guys. Not much in the way of hazards or water. Conditions were good—not fantastic—playable and fair. Way good value for money spent.
