About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Sandstorm
There was the largest sandstorm of my life this morning and I couldn’t make it to the tee time and they charged my card. Not like you would let me freaking play at my tee time and I couldn’t come later. You guys suck. Scraping by off cancellation fees, what a joke. Never playing here again you jokers
Rough conditions
We played the course today to celebrate my father in law’s 72nd birthday. In the past this course has been in great condition. This time out it was a little rough. Greens had some dead spots, and the fairways has a lot of muddy wet spots. Could have just been the time of year as this is a fun shorter course.

Best Executive in Town
Love coming out here to play. Course is in great shape and the staff was awesome as usual. Walked it in 2:30 and actually shot par for my first time here...can't beat that!
MOSQUITOES EVERYWHERE!!!
Avoid at all costs. Got a good deal on golf now for $29 but it failed to mention that the whole course is infested by mosquitoes!. Usually pretty unbothered but I was only able to make it through 3 holes before having to call it quits. Got bit about 30 times in a 45 minutes time span and safe to say I wont be back!

We are sorry to hear you had such a tough time. I know you checked in right at your tee-time and didn't have a chance to let us tell you that the mosquitos were fairly strong in their presence. We had bug spray for everyone to use when they checked in, most folks got here early enough to apply it before they went out.
We had hundreds of people play that morning and had little to no issue with them after applying some light bug spray.
We received 3 inches of water in the last 7 days and mosquitos love the rain...
We are sincerely sorry you didn't enjoy yourself.
We do feel the "poor" rating on Pace, Condition, Value and Amenities is tough to swallow considering you played 3 holes?
We understand your frustration and would love for you to give the course another shot when the course hadn't received so much rain the two days before.
Little Wet
Finished in 2 hours - golf path only but that was OK. The course was in great shape - some standing water but not much.
Mosquito HQ
I grew up in I the area and never saw mosquitos until the last 15 years. Turns out, Springfield is their local HQ. More mosquitoes than Florida and Minnesota combined, it’s is nuts. Great course, but the mosquito swarms were out of control.

We can't do much about mother nature! We try to warn folks to wear bug spray, but all the courses are struggling mightily with these little blood suckers right now. We received over 3" of rain in the past 3 weeks and they are plentiful....
Hopefully as the temps increase, they will die out!

Play Springfield course regularly. . Very friendly staff ,and conditions excellent. Very fairly priced. Enjoy.

Man, this one hurts...
We talked to you after the round, as you were coming in and you said "You had a great time and jokingly said we “set the course record”. "
We even paired you with a a group that plays here often, as it was your first time here and you were fairly new to golf?
Reviews mean a lot to courses, and conditions are great right now! (Sure there is some standing water in areas from almost 3 inches of rain i the last two weeks and almost .8" the day before, but most of those areas aren't "in play".
We hope you reconsider your evaluation...

For what it is, it's a great value
Took my son for his first real trip to a golf course. Executive layout. Greens pretty ragged, even for summertime in AZ. Not may fairways due to the short layout, but they were very long, almost like normal rough. Rough was really long.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Pace of play was just short of 3 hours (18 holes). If you want to flex your driver distance, this isn't the place for you, but work on your par 3 game, excellent deal!
Short course, decent layout
Course was okay. Greens were very slow and the grass was long. Not really smooth at all. Some of the green had patches of grass and section marked “under repair”. No GPS on the carts. Fairway had patches or dirt throughout. If you landed on grass, you were good but some sections it didn’t matter where you hit, you would end up on dirt. The tee boxes were decent. No major issues there.
