About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Short course, decent layout
Course was okay. Greens were very slow and the grass was long. Not really smooth at all. Some of the green had patches of grass and section marked “under repair”. No GPS on the carts. Fairway had patches or dirt throughout. If you landed on grass, you were good but some sections it didn’t matter where you hit, you would end up on dirt. The tee boxes were decent. No major issues there.

Course transition to Bermuda , rain the night before , all in all good golf
Nice
Challenging greens. Good mix of par 3s and 4s. A couple drivable par 4s to make things interesting.
We decided to try the restaurant (club 61) after the round. Great food and service.
Dried out
Course was in rough shape. Minor work being done (sprinklers out). Pace was good until back nine. Watched three groups driving up to greens and anywhere they wanted. But with the price I would recommend it but if more than $20 I would go somewhere else

Excellent staff, good pace of play, will continue to play there
Good short course
Overall it was a fun experience. Course is decently maintained, a par 61 course no par 5s every par 4 is under 400 yards. Course has a driving range that is decent.
Would play again.

Fun course
wish teeoff would had said greens had been aerated 2 days ago, bunkers a lot better then the Legacy and holes much more fun to play.
Fast greens and lots of dirt
This is an average course. I paid for 18 holes and had to play the front 9 twice since the back 9 were aerating. At least 2 holes in the front 9 had big patches of dirt on or near the fairway. For only paying $20 for 18, I’d play here again, but it would have to be on a good deal again.

Love this course - another great round here
Played 5/31/2021 with 3 strangers. Staff was 100% nice and helpful. Went off on time and met three wonderful new friends. Love this place for the challenge. Make no mistake - that 11 par 3s and 7 par 4s will be plenty hard and plenty enjoyable. Great place and value if you want to enjoy the game and challenge of shorter more precise shots. I plan to play here again several times a month going forward.
Was Memorial Day and the we played in about 4.5 hours which is much slower than the usual 3.5 hours but the people I played with were so much fun, I did not even notice.
