About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Parking
Golf was fine. We were paired up with two other guys which kind of left me the only woman feeling out even though I had no trouble keeping up with them. Not the date day I was invisioning.
Lot of areas wet
Don't know if there was water irrigation problems but water was in a lot of areas, also the greens are little beat up right now most of it is because players don't seem to fix their ball marks but we enjoy playing there fairways just a little sloppy with water you don't realize it until you hit it and then you mess up the fairways with your golf cart... And of course your ball runs through water and that doesn't help.
Nice January Day
Greens are challenging with speed and slope. This is a great course to work and improve your short game. Grounds crew need to work on standing water issue off of some greens. Golf management needs to spread start times out about 3-5 minutes longer. This will prevent waiting on almost all the par 3’s since there are many par 3’s.
Father Son Round
Had a good time on the course with my son who is 14. It was his 4th round ever and Springfield is a great course for new golfers. Will definitely play there again.
