About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Course under maintenance!
I usually play here all the time cause it's a great course to practice with irons! Course was under major maintenance on maybe 7-8 holes. Some tee boxes were totally gutted and moved to a temporary location. Greens grass was super long and almost un-puttable. I would give this course a few months before I go again unfortunately. Excited to see whats it like when it's complete.

Staff was great, but greens, fairways and traps not very very playable. Tee boxes were under construction, which was ok

ROUGH
I played this course 3 yrs ago and was taken care of way better then. No water in the ball washes. The greens are horrible. I won't be back that's for sure.

Swamp on the Desert
I teed off at 6 am with my son as I am retired and my son had to be at his office at 9:20 am. No rain in the past week, but water on grass and in sand traps was a little too much. The greens had been aireated a few days earlier. There were too many places on the fairways that was like hitting from dirt.

Soggy course and lakes in sand traps at 6 AM
I thought I was going to enjoy playing at 6 AM, but the greens were aeriated a few days earlier and that I can understand, but soggy areas and very wet sand traps put a damper on my round. Also, some areas of the fairway were like hitting from no grass at all.

Good for practicing short irons
This is a good, economical course for working on your short to mid irons game. If you go when the course traffic is light, you can get around 9 holes in about an hour. Summer rates are very reasonable and worth the money if you're like me and prefer not just hitting balls on a driving range.
Great Executive Course!
Great little course! You can finish 18 holes in 3 hours and easy course for beginners as well as intermediate players. Grass was in great condition!

Good Value
Nothing to write home about. Greens were very dry and inconsistent between holes. Some puddles in a few bunkers. Little to zero sand. Basically a mud bunker. That being said, course staff was very nice. Carts were clean. Fun for a 20$ round. Short course, finished in just under 3 hours.
Good executive course
This course is one of our favorites, it is always enjoyable to play here. As the temps rise, the pace of play gets better. We love this course
