About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

Coming alive
The course is coming alive with spring. Fairways have grass,, greens roll very good.
Staff was friendly. Max was very helpful. Debbie in grill also.
I LOVE WILLOW
I love to play Willow. Its always in great shape and the staff is friendly.

Good course, unfortunately they let several groups in front of us on the turn and slowed everything down
Good course
They have a few holes that were under repair but overall it's a great track. Always enjoy playing here. Fair and playable with enough of a twist to make it exciting.
Slow start
I have played the course many times over a few decades. So I know the drill.
This time many golfers including myself were frustrated because of lack of carts and a delay I was told about due mowing the greens concurrent with the first tee times. This was definitely not good on what was arguably the best golf day of the new year- sunny,70F, and not cart path. Better management and flow control was needed. They should at least offered comp range balls while our foursome waited on the half-hour + delay. New range balls are sorely needed too.
Course was on good shape for winter. Layout is good. Greens rolling well.
