Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

very good
Cart path only due to rain.... Few wet spots, but overall very playable,
Today's Round
I love playing Willow Creek. It is among my favorite courses to play. Today's round was a bit disappointing. Slow play ruled the day. Groups in front of us played no ready golf.
Great course
I enjoyed the layout and overall conditions were very good as well. The only issue was the pace of play — horrible. We did pick up some on the 15th hole. There were rangers, but I only saw 1 on the 9th hole and did not affect the pace of play at all.
Great Shape
Before today, the lasted time I played this course was the summer of 2018 then moved to Charlotte, NC. I decided to play this course after I finished my business trip. The course was in great shape. The greens were quick and rolled true. The pace of play was outstanding, it took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to play 18. I carded three double bogeys but still shot an 84 playing from the white tees. Great round today, I was amazed with the course condition. I highly recommend others to play.
New favorite Course just wish...
Love the course that my friend and I came to. Found the only thing lacking to be hole maps and a description and/or distance to hazards playing the course from the blue tees for the first time. We’re definitely eager to play again. I do recommend bringing a course map if you haven’t played this course before; even so, we still loved it, and it was the most fun round this year—each of us shooting under our handicaps.
Course in great shape
Always fun to play Willow Creek. New greens in great shape.
It has been a year or so since I played here. I was very impressed with the condition of the course. It was in excellent shape from tee to green. Nice layout with no real “goofy” holes. Will definitely be back.
5 and half hour round
Course layout is great. Some greens still not rolling true. The problem here is and always has been they over book the course. While waiting on our tee time #1 has 4 groups on the hole. 1 on the green, 1 in the fairway, 1 on the tee, and the last group waiting to tee. Nobody enjoys golf like this. This is why i take my business elsewhere. Plenty of other courses around this area where the conditions and rate are in the same bracket without the terrible pace of play.
We Love Willow Creek
Nice round today but hot. Greens were a little bumpy due to aeration but overall good. Can't wait to play there agasin.
