Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
Not worth the price
Course is nice, but not worth $150and more, which is what they are charging. Robbing golfers blind to make up for the pandemic is insanity.
Power Ranch
I really enjoyed this course, it was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tee boxes, fairways, and sand traps were very good. The greens were in over-all very good shape , but a little slow. The roughs were bad in spots but we just had a lot of rain last week.
Over-all I really enjoyed the course, and had a lot of fun playing it. I will play it again soon.
Way Ovetpriced
This is a $50-60 course that’s charging over$100 right not. Bad value for the money. Lone tree, whirlwind and even Lad Colinas are better options in this area.
This is my final review for GolfPass...
I play over 100 times a year and always submit reviews. If you request my opinion, you will get it. However, my reviews change nothing. It's always the same. I complain about the outrageous pricing of golf in the Phoenix area and the slow play on almost every course, but nothing happens. So, no more reviews. Let the buyer beware. There is nothing better than paying well over a $150 per person for a 4.5 to 5 hour round of golf.
Great course
The greens are excellent, the layout is challenging but fair, and the staff is friendly. The sand traps need the sand turned/refreshed, but that is the only negative.
My favorite course in the greater Phoenix area!
I absolutely love going to Power Ranch. The fairways are the best in the area by far, and the rough is challenging but very well kept.
Course layout is not boring, with some water in play in spots that make you think about your shot, doglegs left and right, and bunkers that make par 3s interesting.
Pace of play was great. I’ve played the course a couple times - one time with a foursome in about 4 hours and 15 minutes and today with another single in 2 hours and 40 minutes (would’ve been faster but took 3-4 holes for a really slow twosome to let us play through once the Marshall chatted with them).
The greens are fun and challenging. There are some flat spots but also plenty of challenging breaks. Absolute only downside is some of the greens aren’t in perfect condition (I’d say 4-5 are about a 6-7/10, the rest are 8-9/10). All in all, a great course. A solid 9.5/10
Staff is also very friendly and the grass range is in pristine condition. The putting green is well kept, and the chipping area has a nice bunker and lots of room to practice different chips and pitches.
Good Experience
The course was in good shape... the greens, T boxes and fairways. I'll play it again.
Great Time in Gilbert
Got to say had a great time playing and the guys in in my group were fun to hang with and spend the afternoon just enjoying the game and the weather. Have not been here for a couple years but changes were made and it show's. I will be back for sure
