Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
Loved the layout. Can't wait to play again soon. One suggestion, starter should combine singletons.
Greens
Just punched the greens with no warning on the tee time. Not the first time that has happened with this course. Won't be going back anytime soon.
There was no drinking water on course and very hot.practice facility week and frustrating paying for old range balls not so good.staff was friendly
Very enjoyable
I can only hope to play here again . It Is a very nice course . They care about everything . We got a golf now deal . Ordinarily can’t afford.
Power Ranch
Course in okay condition greens were good real windy day played made course real hard. Back nine a great test of golf skills.
Tricky greens made worse
Let me start by saying I do not mind tricky greens with tons of slope. What I do mind is placing pin placements ON those slopes or tiers. It adds an unnecessary difficulty for single digit players and can be almost impossible for high index players. Hitting an iron shot to 6 feet should leave you at least a chance at birdie but some of these pin placements turned a 6 foot birdie putt into a 10 foot par putt. A less skilled golfer can easily roll the ball off the green. Really no excuse for pin placements like that when there are plenty of spots not ON the slopes.
I like the corse layout and the staff is friendly but the greens are a deal breaker if they are irresponsible with pin placements.
Trilogy is the best
Such a fun layout, and the course is always in great condition! Can’t wait to play it again!
Course conditions suspect
Inconsistant greens speeds. Mower not cutting properly ( if at all that day ) not a graini of sand in bunkers. Looks line too much time spent on tree care and someone forgot to maintain the course?
All around solid golf experience.
Good course and great folks makes this an easy golf choice for me.
Meh.
Greens are in rough shape. Fairways dry and patchy. No sand in the bunkers. No bad if they want $30 but for what they are charging, it’s silly. Practice green apparently caught an errant bombing run from Luke AFB. Staff is always great though.
Fun Course
Always on our top list of favorites. Great place for couples & for the casual golfer. Would be 5 star if sand traps weren’t in need of some work.
My Overall Favorite Golf Course
Trilogy golf course has always been my favorite & when friends or other golfers ask us which courses we like to play, Trilogy has always been on top of the list. This course is somewhat challenging as it is not all flat like the paths are. The day was perfect with the trees & cacti are in bloom, the weather was sunny, warm but windy. The pro shop, the surrounding areas & the washrooms are very clean. We did not go into the restaurant or deck. My electric power cart steering was on the noisier side (#54) but overall we had a great experience & will be returning next winter season.
Decent for the price
Decent course for the price after 230. Practice putting green is a disaster. Good range.
