About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

This course is perfect , you couldnt ask for anything more. Super solid practice course. Staff is baddass and the pizza is super fire.

Always a good time
We have been at the course a lot lately. Teaching friends how to golf. Great place for this. Great, great people. All of the employees must LOVE their job. They all are very cheerful. It is not a course like the Troons, etc. but it is special to us now. Great place to just have a quick round and for teaching (as long as you do not hold anyone up). Has a great driving range.

Always Fun
Sunday afternoon tea off on time pace of play was OK. Fairways and greens in good shape. Only downside is the dusty, dusty Rhodes pizza, food cold beer always the best part.

The Walmart of Golf Courses
Where to start? I truly hate this course. Weird layout makes it dangerous considering all of the bad golfers who slice it on to neighboring tee boxes, greens and fairways. No dress code and a lot of marijuana being smoked on the course. Pace is slower than molasses.
Decent driving range with no real practice putting green.
Would be a good spot for some night golf though.
Basically the Walmart of golf courses. Not a place you really want to go but will do it anyway when you’re looking for something cheap. And most people dress the same at both places.

Great for beginners
Has great driving range and ALL the staff are super great. A nice facility. The course is not the best but one can overlook it .

Good city short course
Good city course. It’s short, tight, and I’m great shape. Greens were well maintained with it being a 9 hole. It’s challenging enough if you are not a good wedge player. It’s great. And thank goodness it’s not expensive in the prime time of the season. Worth the money and was a lot of fun. If you swing big you need to club down cause it’s easy to hit up on people. And nobody likes that!

Great Little Beginner Course!
A buddy of mine and I have been going to various courses across the valley over the last couple of months. We are about as green as the grass itself, and (admittedly) play pretty abysmally. However, everyone—players and staff—was really patient, courteous, and helpful. Quite the breath of fresh air, coming from Phoenix municipal courses.
For $25 you get a cart, a warm-up bucket for the range, and (rare for most courses) you can golf as a twosome. The course is very well maintained, the pacing is excellent. It’s an excellent course for beginners, and even more seasoned veterans, to have a nice relaxing round of golf. Highly recommend!

Great driving range, excellent for beginners
Took a new golfer to this course (we have been there before). excellent driving range. For a new golfer we could spend as much time as we wanted on the driving range. Then, the course itself is shorter. Perfect, again, for new golfers.........except you have to keep pace. The price was excellent. Had a great time and believe a new golfer is born after going to Desert Mirage!
