About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

HAD TO LEAVE
Took my wife for her first outing as I have been teaching her so we could keep a good pace and not slow others down. We apparently were to be paired up with another guy and he never said he was sent out to group up, I tee off not knowing he was paired with us so we head to the ladies tee box and after she hits her shot the guy sends a ball right past our heads. The group in front were all over the place so rather than ruin our day we found it best to leave. Unfortunately I used to love playing this fun little course but I guess i might not play again.

Desert Mirage
Enjoyed the course. Easy to find next tee box. Course didn’t seem as dry as the one. I golfed a couple days earlier. Staff was very friendly and gave me a quick overview of the course, which was helpfull.

Nice round for the price
Great round at a fair price. Pace of play was good but had a 30 minute wait at the turn

The pace of play was very slow but it was on a Sunday.

fun course
We enjoyed the course. Greens were good. The staff was friendly and professional. The Driving range and putting green were well maintained and safe. Great time.

Okay Choice
The course is flat, straight-forward, and short (it's an executive course). The greens were okay, the bunkers not so much. Fairways yielded good-to-poor lies, and the rough was non-existent. If you were off the fairway you could expect bare lies.
The pace was a little slow for a Friday morning; we waited on most shots. Played in about 2:10, but this course should take 20 or 30 minutes less than that. Lots of beginners.
Good price ($22 to walk 9 holes) and booking online gets you a complimentary warm-up bucket of balls.
With all the snowbirds in town this time of year, getting out can be difficult, but this course tends to have plenty of openings if you book ahead. (Haven't tried to walk-on yet.)
The course could use a more robust winter over-seeding to provide better fairway conditions, but they seem to be operating on slim margins to begin with, so that might be expecting too much.

Nice course
Varied hole layout with mix of normal length and shorter holes. Green are faster. Long drives between tees. Good they have carts….good value course.
