About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Course was in great shape for this time of year.
For an executive course it played at a good pace and thought it was in great shape. It was a lot greener than others we had played in the Phoenix area. The price was good for this course.
Price
Booked online charged a deposit less than one green fee,when got to course charged everyone a amount more than what online total was supposed to be. Didn't catch till we were done and headed home. My advice check your receipt at time of check in, this may have been a accident and our bad for not paying closer attention. Everything else was great.
I like playing Sunland
The weather was good until #9 when the wind came up and it started raining. I found shelter and waited till the rain let up. Then I played #10-13 when the rain started again so I quit. It was that kind of a day. I look forward to playing again. I do enjoy playing at Sunland Village.
Course was too busy....and we werent told we had to turn in our cart at 5:30 when we booked or checked in, so we didnt finish our round.

My son and I played and where pair with some very nice folks, we had a great time.

Great short course for older people who don't hit as far as they used too
Great Executive Course
Played it twice this week. It's in great shape and a challenge for all levels. They did just sand the greens, but they did a good job of it and only affected the putting slightly. Had the Marshal ask us to speed up play on the 13th hole. Just ignored him as our play was at a good pace. We finished in 3 hours 10 minutes. Maybe they need to track t-times and check pace that way.
